Dang I'm diggin that! That particular poem's voice reminds me of Talib Kweli's voice. Not at all saying that the two sound anything alike to anyone else or even that the two "artists" remind me of each other, just saying that this particular poem's voice remind me of his... the tranquility balanced out with the urgency. The intelligence balanced out with the humility. So much and simultaneously so simple. Needed insight without the "And I'm the right one" sermon. Nice one.
And yes.. Thank goodness for something outside of men/women helping on this plane of existence. WHEW! But I do wonder how many storms will have to come to reaffirm the lack of control and (check) the illusion of it.
