My thinking is if you are on the side of the people and want to gain the trust of the people you talk with the people. NOT go off in a back room and talk about how much money you are making from this get together.
More so than that the whole meeting was about money not about what we are using the money to do for the movements and organizations but the money PERIOD. No planning, trying to understand what is the most pressing issue of the people of certain area's around the country.
Just because you speak a good game about change if all you do is walk around real issues when we bring them to you or just attempt to ignore a question about "What are we going to do about (such and such) You lose credibility to me and if you are trying to get people on your side you might want to relate to those people.
From that point on I suggest you do your own research on them as a whole. |
