If this global system keeps unraveling both economically and the weather, we all might be living in the wilderness soon. History proves that all top heavy structured societies eventually fall and the people usually go back to a simpler way of living to survive.
And let's not forget, if these people's habitats are destroyed, than that means the majority of the rainforest's will be gone, and the trees in these areas supply most of the world's breathable oxygen.
