I am happy to see that you find the Bible as a source of peace for your life. I will state that the more you are in tune with your cultural self the Bible will look differently! Trust me when I read the bible I was 13 years of age, I read it like a book. I told my mother it was the dumbest book I had ever read. I then began to notice that the stories repeated themselves or at least the concepts did. I noticed further the numerous contradictions in the books! Then I began to investigate, research those contradictions and that's when I began having problems with the Judaeo Christian doctrine! Africa, has for years suffered at the hands of invading concepts, not one concept that has come out of Africa has ended up in an invaders hand without changes!

These changes proved intellectually problematic for our masses of folks who learned complacency, and a degeneration of their Afrikan selves. We did however manage to add some Afrikanisms (is that a word) to various religions of the invaders, percussions, drums, storytelling etc. However to use an invaders interpretation of my cultural self I personally feel is an act of insanity, again this is my humble opinion. For me there are certain things that are unacceptable and yoking myself to my oppressor is one of them. My beloved we must of necessity do all we can to understand the sources of our spiritual enlightenment beside being simply uplifted. Your intelligence is obvious I would just add that perhaps a study of more ancient Afrikan texts may be added to your already awesome intellect!
