i can only imagine the frequency with which those mtgs deteriorated into ideological battles. That's such a tough nut to crack, as you well know, we are real, real good at finding what separates us vs. what brings us together.
i really love this part too, which is really, really key, especially now when our youth need to learn from us but at the same time are ready to kick our disorganized asses to the curb:

i wrote a blog reminding us to accept our people right where they are at and build them up w/love, P.E. and not harsh criticisms. The old saying is true that we get more flies with honey than vinegar, and we need all the flies we can get!
