Ummm... that's "Sis." lol. i really admire your tailoring the b.s. history that gets crammed into our children so that it reflects the truth. Sounds like you're at "ground zero" w/o much time to teach so much basic info, not just on the history tip but on basic writing skills. As you already know, there's a wealth of info up here and at the RBG Street Scholar for your use.

Now you got to describe that Thanksgiving poster next time you post, i'm curious how it specifically offends the irish!

Last yeah the white teachers were talking behind my back about how they didn't like it, others felt the need to say they liked it so much because they were scared to say what they really wanted to say, and one told me he was offended because he was Irish.
