Has Black Leadership Lost It's Mind? Why Honor Debra Lee

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Honors Black
Entertainment Televisions' Debra Lee!!
Has Our Black Political Leadership Lost Their Minds?
What were the reasons why the Congressional Black
Caucus honored Debra Lee and BET during their awards
banquet at the end of their annual conference late
last month? By doing so the CBC puts its'stamp of
approval on the garbage that she allows to be pushed
onto the masses of Afrikan people in the United
States. Check out BET Uncut, 106 & Park, late night
preachers duping the people out of their money and
Jazz Concerts in West Afrikan slave dungeons.
A couple of years ago Miss Lee was also awarded a
‘Woman of Vision Award.’ I watched in amazement and
disgust as BET founder Robert ‘Mubutu’ Johnson
introduced her. Ms Lee said, proudly, that her vision
for BET was to..."MAKE HER EXECUTIVES WEALTHY.
WHAT?????
Well here are some of the positive programming that
BET eliminated to help accomplish this goal: Teen
Summit, Lead Story, Late Night (w/Tavis Smiley),
Emerge Magazine, The Bev Smith Show. Just recently
they tried to eliminate BET News.
BET is an embarrassment to Afrikan culture world-wide
& even more so to African people in the U.S. By the
Black U.S. political leadership honoring the
implementors of this genocidal tool of the oppressor,
it becomes more clear why we are in the condition we
are in today in the U.S. and in the world.
Instead of honoring BET, The Congressional Black
Caucus, CEMOTAP and similar organizations should
demand that BET undergo a positive revolution in their
programming or SHUT DOWN!
