All the revolutionaries that Tookie dedicated his book to, all became heros to him after reading and studing about them. You could not have asked for a better list of heros. Yt wants us to have them as heros and any Afrikan that has any since of worth about self and pride in who,and what we are as a people and all that we have accomplished since the beginninmg of time would have some of those same poeple of colour as their heros and she-ros. Angela Davis,George Jackson, Geronimo Pratt,Dhoruba Bin Wahad,Malcolm X,Ramona Africa,John Africa,Leonard Pelter,Nelson Mandala and Mumia Abu-Jamal. And yes some had been convicted in yt's courts for heiness murders of law enforcement but that still does't take away from what they did for the upliftment of all peoples of colour. Now Comrade Stan "Tookie" Williams now for ever more can added to that list of Afrikan heros and she-ros.
