| Quote: No seriously, I just mentioned this Youtube video in another thread that alluded indirectly to Tiger Woods’ interracial marriage, as it was implied by one of our members that he should be possibly lynched (though satirically) for marrying a white woman. And then there was a Youtube rap audio piece presented to make the case for lynching all “non-progressive” negroes, but in that same piece the rapper was upholding Oprah Winfrey, I guess as a beacon of progressiveness! Well, I think this particular Youtube video presented here of Oprah's thinking, which I saw some time ago, speaks for itself. I also thought about this video when there was another recent thread alluding to the fact that a “large majority” of Black men were chasing, dating, and marrying white women. And what has become obvious to me is that there are some Black women who are so emotionally transfixed on these myths concerning why Black men are missing in their lives, and why so many Black women are single, and especially this ideal of Black men drifting away in large numbers to white women that they fail to see that the biggest possible and most hidden danger of future miscegenation arising on a large and unbelievable scale is in the realm of Black women, especially if Black women remain distracted by these myths and stay in denial concerning the solutions that may need to be considered and implemented to help turn back our problems. And when you have the most powerful Black female media figure in the world telling Black women that Black men are no more than an unavailable “cut of meat” (did you hear that shit!), and that white men are the only thing happening for the majority of single Black women, then this is very problematic and should be taken most seriously!

Brother OmowaleX, outside of a few (as we see just mentioned in this forum), if most of the Sisters are like the ones who stood up and commented on that video clip, then 70% is meaningless to any “truly” progressive and revolutionary thinking Black man.

| Brother John, the world of statistics and percentages can sometimes be a very subjective game, but for what I see out here it’s bad, and 70% could be close if not a “real” number….

Welll....... Oprah is a mess. To me, this is what yt wanted. And she kept saying "the numbers, the numbers", why? Well the truth is we are either locked up, so we (brothers aren't there), or we're under piad basically that was what the first sista was trying to say, or just not doing anything at all..yes I say that. I'm married to a sista, so me not concerned. I got an army in my house...but to me I keep seeing the brothers going to the other side, not so much for love, but it's a status thing. All they want to do is make "pretty" babies or kids. This also goes vice versa...so what has this become. Our women have always been priority two on yt's list to assimilate. Every so often we have to watch out brothas...their trying to eliminate us. |

Oprah has gone beyond ridiculous, nothing she says surprises me anymore. i'll never forget the time i saw her show and she said Gwyneth Pale-trow had "the perfect butt" and even rubbed it. She'll say or do anything to get a rise out of her white audience (who i'm sure warned their white sons about the evils of black women after seeing this particular episode).

That's pretty sad, if there's any truth to it.
