Sister Queen, no need to Brother Truth is saying that liberation aint a man's or woman's thing, but everybody's duty. It doesnt have to do with gender, but education. He explained this when he wrote: Quote:

Then, answer this question...does it feel like we are alone in the revolution? More and more of our brothers are either in concentration camps, streets dealing poison, gay,or dead,or with white women.A woman can fight, but the revolution needs our black men,now more than ever. Quote:

I know you didn't say that, sis. But damn, what do we have to do get them to realize that we need more from them?

i think the question "what do we have to do get them to realize we need more from them?" is asked from both gender groups, and we dont want to start a discussion about who gives more, or who is more brainwashed, cause it sure will have no end and will only devide us. The conclusion is ANYBODY, man, woman, have the power to help somebody else discover the truths of the shitstem. And love is always necessary for this, love and patience. So the asnwer to your first question is Yes. But, love for One single person is not enough, of course we also need to focus that love and patience on our entire community. And you cant teach somebody to be a complete warrior if you are alone, because to become Warriors we need a community, a community to teach and to learn from.

Our liberation is going to take REAL MOVEMENT in REAL TIME with REAL EFFORTS...which is applicable for everyone, and the whole world is affected by it. Strong Black Love....I don't know Queen....its just too abstract to liberate someone. Clearly to make those efforts, that "Strong Black Love" could be there, but if that "spirit" is not, and those efforts are still made, without compulsion, and education is further implemented.....and the struggle continues, who is complaining? |

Our men complain when they believe we ask too much from them, but the truth,we do need more from them, and I'm not just talking economically or emotionally,we need them to be our Nation's line of defense. ![]() Quote:

| Some men complain when some women ask for more. And some women complain when they are asked for more AS WELL. We must support echother and educate echother and THATS IT. Men and women are both in the first line of attack.

Queens, I must commend you all for this is one of the most lively and intellectually powerful discussions I have seen here! I appreciate all of your minds and on some level it is a discussion to be had by the Afrikan woman alone! We as Afrikan men cannot define what the role is for the divine HER! She can bring light to He, and He can bring light to the She! What we do with that light is an individual concept. The issue that we are faced with is does the one "cause" the other to "become" conscious? I say moreso that the one can be a guide or a lampost the person must find that courage or have had some prior or even current environmental factors that will have moved them in that direction. For instance, My mother gace me Soledad Brother when I was 16, as a young man she taught me to question everything. That got me into trouble in churches and mosques and temples and such as well as school. My mother is obviously a woman! I was then given a Muhammad Speaks Newspaper when I was 19 by a fine...and I mean fine Muslim sister! She invited me to a Mosque in Chicago. Then I have been affected by Charsee McIntyre, Maria Stewart, Assata Shakur and of course Queen Mother Moore. So women can help to shape the consciousness of a man. The warrior and specific things can be taught by women but may be better taught by men. The jury is still out for me on that one! Now with all of these women having contributed to my warrior status, and I am here with you all, it can work...Here I am, in all my short, radiant, Afrikan, splendor!

| Only a revolutionary can produce a like mind...
I said I don't kno. But that is wrong. A black woman can liberate a man who has enuf love in his heart to accept the truth. Which means, that only a revolutionary (man or woman) can liberate anybody in this society.
