a true beauty will radiate and shine,it comes from within,a true afrikan queen, will always shine and her presence will always be felt, because she loves her natural self and she is unswayed by dyes, fake weaves and hair, she is considered a threat for the uncle toms of modernity who tries to appease their masters,on which on the end after they chew the meat, they spit out their bones, shine lionesses of afrika, let the spirits of our ancestors give you, enlightment, courage, guidance and wisdom, grow dem locks, symbol of strength, dont let the oprahs of today,to tell you diffrent, nor condoleeza rices as well! you are as beautiful as every afrikan women in the diaspora * SOLDIERS SALUTE*

Beauty, you know that energy that enters a room and even when your back is turned the 6th sense makes you turn around and take notice. That energy that seems to freshen the air you inhale and humbles your heart when you make eye contact(look away, look back, look away) takes your ego and kindly hands your pride back. That conversation that locks out the world around you and opens the papyrus of her soul but no words are exchanged just deep eye gazing and her girlish smile. Beauty, yeah you know the first time you shake her hand and her finger tips feel oh so smooth, warm and familiar and you've never met well, atleast not in this life time. Beauty that mystique inexhaustive mystique and subtle power that reveals intellegence, wit and poise beyond her years. Beauty is that well manicured spirit that makes you wish she'd just touch your face with damn near any part of her. Beauty, that down to earth mama, damn what the hell is that perfume oh, is that oils damn even ya' hair care products smell good type of sh*t that stays on ya' mind...you could smell it any and everywhere else everyday but it'll always be her scent. Beauty, when you find she can calm ya' wild a** down long enough to keep you on the phone with her seductive insights till the sun comes up. Beauty, damn son she got every CD (nah, ya' favorite slow jam can't be the same as mine) and Book I got and then some lets exchange some damn I never thought I'd meet somebody who dug that oh, I never thought of it like that, that's some fly sh*t type of thinking. Beauty, that she makes every man woman and child think you're coolest, fliest, God on two black feet despite knowing all ya' dingy secrets and quirks. Beauty yeah, I think I know what you're talking bout. Politikin' with lesser wisdoms caught up in the system havin' them revising their mission. That's Beauty.

For me it is hard to say beauty is because I am still trying to understand what it is. When I used to look for a man to complete me I used to go by what he looked like and wht he could offer me only to realize I was never what they were looking. I realized if you didn't love yourslef which is true beauty then no one would love you either. Physical beauty is not the only thing that matters in this world. To me I believe beauty is when you know your self worth and can get others to see their own, when you are confident in who you are, what you beleive in, and prosper to be that King, that is true beauty to me.....
      Peace to my African family.....

What do y'all think of this Afrikan proverb?

A person is beautiful because of his or her posessions.

When you pause and take stock of what your posessions on this earth are you'd come to realize the only things you truly have valued ownership in are your will, character, spirit and body. So if these posessions are secured and kept clean you're truly rich.
