The African Herbal Healing Science and Nutrition Certification acclimates you to the history of traditional healing in Africa, Learn the extensive library of African herbs and their healing properties, ancient herb and food recipes and how they are relevant today, the healing uses of spices and herbs in food preparation, Healthy food habits of West Africa, What is disease from an African point of view?, Understanding the Wholistic Nature of Wellness, Preparing Yourself to Heal, Deprogramming your Programmed Eating Habits and Thought Patterns, Helping your Clients to be Receptive, Developing the Healing Touch, Developing a Business in Wholistic Medicine and more.



The course is divided into two consecutive weekends. Weekend one will focus on theory in over 15 concentrated areas of curriculum and weekend two will focus on the practical in the hands on areas of remedy making techniques (poultices, potions, herbal formulas, and tinctures), identification of herbs in nature, food preparation, client etiquette, and body assessments. The class includes a one year apprenticeship guidance program which includes study group teleconferences, home study assignments, meditations, and access to personal guidance sessions with Dr. Asare as needed.

He is an active member of the Ghana National Association of Traditional Healers, and a trained adult educator and counsellor. He is the founder of PAMA HEALTH (POSITIVE AFRO-MENTAL ATTITIDE) with over 130 herbal formulations. Dr. Asare is the organizer of ACCEDE (AFRICAN COMMUNITIES COLABORATING EVERYWHERE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND EMANCIPATION). His lecture and workshop series consist of "Who is African?" cross cultural awareness with additional topics in African science, nutrition, herbology and natural healing techniques dating back 2000 years.
