Foods that bulk you up

I've been semi-organic vegan for some months now and i'm losing/lost alot of weight I wanna stay where I am food wise but want some foods that bulk me up cause i'm afraid I might waste away into a r&b boyband homo look.I pump lots of weights so I want some good vegan/semi vegan that could add bulk.

A good bit of Tofu, rice, and Pasta.

But this is something you will HAVE to come to terms with........YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT!!! What you lose in animal fat is what you are losing when you stop eating animal meat. You just have to give your body time to adjust to your new diet.

I lost a LOT of weight when I first made the switch but now my body is starting to balance itself out and any weight I put on is muscle. Also keep in mind that 60% of your body weight is always WATER WEIGHT. So if you work out and think you have lost a few pounds it's usually water.

Don't worry about looking smaller just because you may loss size that doesn't mean you are losing strength which is the most important part of your work out.

This book might be of some help.

I heard you should'nt eat potatoes because of simple carbs also I dont eat tofu cause of I heard soy raises estrogen.I dont know if I'm getting cut or losing muscle or both so I hope you're right and my body evens out.Thanks for the book recommendation I'll look out for it and I'll try and read up on Carl lewis

I like Yams.

Carl Lewis has been exposed for steroid use.
What's your opinion on these weight gain products for bodybuilders?

I like yams,plantains and sweet poatatoes in Trinidad they call that provisions back when I did'nt watch myself that plus curried goat,rice & peas and callaloo used tobe the greatest meal on earth to me.I mentioned carl lewis because he said he had his best year when he went vegan and performed at his peak while veggie.Now those bulk powders are tricky you have to find a good one that does'nt have too much sugar or simple carbs.plus you have to train hard cause your adding alot of calories.You find one clean as possible plus you should fix the does to suit you cause some are too high nutritionally to eat at once.I might buy a tub for a easy heavy duty meal this one seems good

Ya Brother, you so right... you have to research B4 taking any of this stuff.

I just watched a body-building DVD (Muscle and Fitness Training System) last night... and to my surprise, it showed me I doing the wrong exercises. This show broke down the distinctions between exercises for bulking-up and toning-up. I have all the DVDs, we can set something up thru the internet, if you have an interest in them also.

Them foods you mention, the curry goat, plantain, callaloo, all of it... still gets served in this house. My family hails from Jamaica... Island people

Most exercises can be used either just switching up weights and sets like you can use the deadlift to bulk up or tone up you just do high reps 10-20 and low weights for toning and heavy weights and low reps 1-10 for bulking most people bulking dont do alot of cardio.Then switch up your diet and your cool the hardest part is finding a system thats suits you.But yeah I'm up for for a internet link up.
