Did Anybody Catch The "State Of Black America" Panel on C-SPAN Today?

I caught it toward the end. If anybody happened to record it, PM me and let me know what I need to do to get a copy of it. I had no idea it was even coming on.

From what I saw, Chuck D and Cornell West were holding it down. Them brothas were layin it down!

Well, it's on now (the end of the 1st half at 1:02 am EST). Then Barack's announcement, and i guess it will follow with the 2nd half (which features Chuck D, Cornel West). You can google Tavist's info on-line, too bad if you'll have to further enrich these guys (he spent the whole first half-hour hawking a book that *had to be bought* as a companion to the first one), and i'm sure they're selling DVD's of this. They're having a tour also, probably coming to your town. SOS, vote, vote, vote some mo.

P.S. i'm watching the end right now at 6:17am (EST) and didn't hear nothing new. NOBODY mentioned COINTELPRO and its continuing attacks on black/brown/white activism. NOBODY mentioned our PP's/POW's. Only one sister dealt with the issue of women in prison (her name escapes me, she was on the 1st panel). One other speaker that moved me (outside of the comedy stylings of Dr. Julia Hare which were very entertaining and timely) was Marian Wright Edelman speaking on the very real issues dealing with our children. Chuck D or nobody else left me with a revolutionary bone to pick off of (this not a put-down, just the real!). Suffice it to say, if you caught it last year, no need to go out your way to catch it this year.
