Peace.
This is a tragic time for Black people in the bayou country around New Orleans. We are always relegated to insignificance and I do not want to take it anymore. Only Black people can free their minds and move ahead. The government will not do it, nor do they want your mind free; they need us for their laborers only. We must act independently, collectively and arrogantly, if need be, to improve our position among the civilizations of the world.
The government policies have always conspired against the progress of our people. Now, I ask if you want to continue in this way or take a different path that is less hostile?
So, let us do some serious thinking about whether to rebuild in New Orleans or should we consider an organized
exodus to Africa to reacquaint ourselves with the ancestral homeland.
We can continue as we are or we can emigrate to become a greater people with a greater purpose.
This is the time not only for serious dialogue about "exodus", but, also about implementing acts that will lead to that "exodus".
Yes, it is time for us to grow into adulthood, take responsibility for our actions and lead our African selves to our own prosperity.
Let us not waste another Black life in a country that shows compassion for its poor by police occupation and brutality.
We have grown tired of the lockups, high unemployment,
2nd class citizenship, media stereotyping, poor healthcare,
inferior housing, broken families,etc.
It has been a long time coming and we are tired of fighting the same losing struggle generation after generation with each successive generation losing more than the generation before it. It all add up to nonsense and genocide for Black people.
Can't we begin to get this thing underway and show the white world of the USA that we will no more tolerate being
disrepected as a people.
Let us create a log and a human manifest of brothers and sisters who are willing and able to return to our "promised-land".
