Marcus 3X: Professor Crawford, what got you interested in writing a book (Excuses, Excuses: The Politics of Interracial Coupling in European Culture) on the subject of interracial coupling?

Professor Crawford: Five things really. My mother who explained the concept of “forbidden fruit� at an early enough age for it to stick. Living in Hyde Park (which had the highest concentration of interracial couples in any community in this country and where virtually every Afrikan-European couple I saw was an Afrikan male and European female) as a student at the University of Chicago in the 1980s opened my eyes to the magnitude of the problem. Reading Chancellor Williams’ The Destruction of Black Civilization connected my personal assumptions with concrete history through his discussion of the mulatto thesis. The mentacide expressed by some of my students when I was a professor at Morehouse College who sought to defend Europeans right� to enter my house when I explained to them that, like Toni Morrison’s father, unless it was a matter of dire emergency in which I had no other choice, no European would ever set foot in my house slapped me into the reality of higher levels of miseducation on the issue. And a number of years ago I promised a beautiful, ebony senior from a predominately European college I met at the African American Student Leadership Conference at Rust College to write an answer to the question she asked with tears in her eyes of why, in her four years at college, she had never been asked out on a date by any of the Afrikan male students but all of the European girls around her had.

Marcus 3X: Did you find researching this topic to be difficult?

Professor Crawford: Yes, in that I have family responsibilities and operate an independent educational institute, it consumed an enormous amount of time. But, of course, no question that a student has decided to answer for his/her people in their fight for empowerment through nation building ends up being as difficult as navigating the oppression that generated the confusion in the first place. The only real question about thorough, conscious research is whether one is determined enough to make the time to do the work, not the other way around.

Marcus 3X: Why did you choose to focus primarily on the excuses black males give for pursuing interracial relationships?

Professor Crawford: Well, the most obvious reason is the greatly disproportionate number of Afrikan males locked in the arms of European females. Even though my Afrikan females are seeking to contribute to this epidemic by imitating Afrikan males, as in the prison system where the rate of sister’s incarceration has surpassed that of brother’s but their absolute numbers are still very far behind, they remain a distant second behind the number of Afrikan males sleeping with the enemy. Secondly, in the Afrikan tradition, men educate boys and school each other in the art and science of manhood. Therefore, being in that tradition, it is my responsibility to primarily speak to the Afrikan male. As an Afrikan man I feel that I can speak to other Afrikan men and boys as men speak to men. Too often sisters, like Rosie Milligan in Why Black Men Choose White Women, trying to save their son and men’s feelings, sugarcoat the truth. Afrikan centered manhood is not about eating candy.

The other important reason is that most of these excuses for loving the daughters, wives and even sons of our enemy came from Afrikan male college students. Many were trying to find a way to rationalize consciouslessness as simply a colorless love in this cultural wasteland we call new Europe or Amerikkka. In that many of the sisters in those classes also questioned their sanity, the book was equally written for them. I hope my book provides additional artillery to fight against this insult to their intelligence.

Marcus 3X: The highest rate of interracial coupling is found within which social class of black men? And why do you believe more black men in this social class are more likely to pursue an interracial relationship? Which social class of black men has the lowest rate of interracial coupling?

Professor Crawford: There doesn’t appear to be a stronger relationship between any social class and Afrikan males marrying, dating or craving European females. Many Afrikan males are destroyed to the point where the “love� and validation of European females makes them feel as men, no matter what their educational level, income or occupation may be. However, logically, since males tend to marry females who are below them economically, you should find the weakest connection of class rate of interracial mating at the lowest class level, because a male at the bottom cannot find a female beneath him.

But this is not true. Apparently, no matter how low an Afrikan man sits on the capitalist totem pole, he can find a European woman even mentally lower or weaker to occupy his bed and soothe is fragile ego. But, then again, maybe she is the more intelligent one. However, there are differences between those Afrikan and European males when it comes to marrying outside of their race. Why is it only when it comes to entertaining on the stage, court or field, incarceration, disease, violence and other powerless forms of genocide like interracial dating and marriage that Afrikan males consistently outperform European males? Even though there is no credible class connection, the evidence of the Afrikan male-European male disparity is especially visible at the lowest economic levels. And this where common sense kicks in because of the vacuum left by scientific research. Take a walk through an Afrikan slum and a European one. In all probability, you will find European females being taken care of by Afrikan males in the Afrikan slum but you will be extremely hard pressed to find Afrikan females being taken care of by European males in the European slum.

You find the same contradiction in this so-called colorblind society at the working, middle and upper class levels but, like crime, drugs and perversion, it is not as visible because they are not visible. This disparity helps make common sense of the fact that even though European males who marry European females, Afrikan males who marry Afrikan females and Afrikan males who marry non-Afrikan females tend to marry down socio-economically, European males who marry Afrikan females tend to marry at the same level or up. The Afrikan female has to bring more to the matrimonial table if she is to marry European because she is still seen as the least desirable of all females, except between illicit sheets.

Marcus 3X: Are the future projections pointing towards an increase or decrease for interracial coupling in the United States? What factors do you believe will play a major role in determining the future projections of interracial coupling?

Professor Crawford: At this point in time, all indicators show a steady increase in the number of interracial couples who are married. The number who are simply dating or just having non-committal sexual encounters is growing faster. This indicates that current trends will continue, even increasing slightly with time, because these groups make up the pool from which married interracial couples come. As this pool increases, so too does the number of potential interracial marriages. The proportion of interracially married, as compared to intraracially, or same race, married couples, is still quite small, around 2%. Interestingly, this is the same percent of homosexuals who reside in this society. Of course, some Afrikan warrior scholars will question this statistic on good grounds. But the question of whether all Europeans have sexual desires for Afrikans, just like the one of whether all Europeans are naturally homosexual, is another discussion that requires that we work within definitions that interpret reality from an Afrikan center.

Nonetheless, Afrikan males still lead the pack in the proportion of their group married and dating outside their race. Three times as many Afrikan males are married to European females as Afrikan females married to European males. Four times as many are married to Asian females (non-Afrikan, non-European) as Afrikan females married to Asian males (non-Afrikan, non-European). But the numbers of Afrikan females with European males is on the rise. More sisters are beginning to pick up brother’s bad habits. Very seldom, if ever, do you see or hear of an Asian male married to an Afrikan female. In terms of how long this trend in interracial coupling will last or how far it will infect the Afrikan community, only the European agenda will tell.

If it mirrors other racist indicators, then when the number of such marriages, and/or the products of such marriages reach 8% or so, the social efforts to promote it will cease. This seems to be the understood limit for interracial acceptance among Europeans in a number of other areas. And there is no reason to believe that it will not apply here. It is the maximum percent of Afrikans in any European community, whether liberal or conservative and at any class level, will allow to live in its midst without us triggering a white flight.

The buffer class of Asians, Middle Easterners and mulattos left in control of the local entrepreneurial economy in many Afrikan nations when the European colonizers were ousted also sits at around this magical number. 8% will provide a substantial buffer layer between Europeans and us in this land. When this mission is accomplished, we will be led to participate in other, more progressive, genocidal distractions. For now, though, the number of interracial couplings will continue to rise if for no other reason than the momentum from the media images currently promoting it.

Our children define themselves by the habits of the personalities in front of the camera. Whether these images are real or imagined, conscious or ignorant, is irrelevant. And every rising or falling Afrikan star of note, male and female, from Denzel Washington to Angela Basset, is consistently found in bed with, soothing and/or saving, Europeans. That has become the unicultural dream. But, in truth and reality, nothing more should be expected of these stars. Hollywood is where souls are bought and sold, if they are not already lost before they arrive. Even if there were any historical understanding by these individuals of the European’s ongoing war against and rape of Afrikans, these individuals would easily be compromised by their amoral and insatiable desire for fame and fortune. We often make the mistake of blaming the ignorant for not knowing. But we must remember that they have no reason to act in the political interests of Afrikans. They don’t know that they’re Afrikan.

Marcus 3X: In the past few years movies such as “O� and Save The Last Dance have come out promoting young black males hooking up with young white females. I could never figure out why white people would push the interracial stuff knowing that they are contributing to their own genocide. What message do you believe that white people are trying to deliver with these movies? Do you believe that there is a hidden agenda behind these movies?

Professor Crawford: Probably the most important reason now has to do with trying to politically preserving their privilege. They need to create a buffer class of mixed race, loyal individuals who manage the people of color for them. They need a group who speaks for them, are seen as Afrikan by Afrikans and act like Europeans toward Afrikans so that the Afrikan’s rage is vented at them and not the European. They have created this buffer class in every country they have invaded and colonized. They did this during our enslavement through the creation of “House Negroes.� We see it today in the media that is redefining Black/Afrikan as biracial or Europeans who are born or raised in Afrikan places.

See what the Afrikan males in your latest J.C. Penney catalog look like, compared to reality, or the Hennessy advertisement in the now defunct April 2000 Emerge, and other magazines around that time, where a European male is labeled “african� and an Afrikan male labeled “african american.� Historically, everywhere Europeans invaded, they raped the women in order to create a group whose dependent privilege made them loyal to their fathers and the enemy of their mother’s people. Everywhere. No matter how thin, any blood ties weak-minded “biracials� have with their European parent dominates their priorities, their aspirations, their loyalties. This is the same and they seek by adoption/stealing other’s children.

To take an extreme example, which in this insanity is not so extreme, if you were an Afrikan male raised from infancy by two European homosexual males, what would your orientation be? Who would hold your loyalties? Now, with the spread of truth among the masses, the problem of suppressing those who seek to return reality to the Afrikan Way is beyond their mind control without a more intensive, visible military occupation or massive institutionalization. They must strengthen the control that others exercise over others for them, that appears not to come from them. They must leave the bedroom door slightly open so that a few of their daughters can be sacrificed to produce a better breed of Negro soldier. But it is deeper than that. It is the job of European women to seek out the powerful, and potentially powerful, men of those groups they oppress and keep them monitored and tame. Although many of the Afrikan males European females select, or allow to select them, have no significant power, they all work to the same end.

Over selection is part of the game, a camouflage of sorts. Those who have nothing of power to offer Europeans simply shield those who do. Their larger numbers keep us confused as to those who are the European’s real targets. Nonetheless, Europeans are predators, whether male or female. Whether conscious or subconscious, European women know they are agents of the European nation. Their job is to better channel the power and energy of others into their people.

That has always been their job. European males engage their enemy on the military battlefield. European female’s battlefield is in their enemy’s bed. The old saying, “you keep your friends close and your enemy closer,� is about as close as one can come to describing the seeming contradiction you asked about.

There is no question that Europeans as people realize the depth of their trouble and are trying to create stronger defenses to secure their future. They are more afraid of an immediate and violent destruction than a future genetic annihilation, if only because of the steady growth of the PanAfrikan nationalist movement over the last decade. They know what they have done, and continue to do, to others and know that others have not forgotten. That is why they continue to seek more loyalty from Negroes while they work to make the rest of us forget and forgive.

Marcus 3X: Of all of the excuses that you covered in the book which excuse did you find to be the most intriguing?

Professor Crawford: That depends on what you mean by intriguing. If by intriguing you mean laughable, then the excuse that Asian and European women, who are either usually shorter or thinner than Afrikan women and therefore, make for a snugger, better sexual fit with Afrikan men, is most curious because of its ignorance about male/female anatomy. More than any of the others it speaks to the desperate level of irrational, unscientific thinking that some Afrikan males will go to justify their burning desire to be with any woman but an Afrikan one.

If by intriguing you mean insulting, then the idea that Afrikan women are too aggressive and unmanageable is the most ridiculous in terms of whether this is or is not a benefit to Afrikan men who are at war with Europeans.

Historically, unlike their European counterparts, Afrikan women are warriors who have stood beside Afrikan men in battling their enemies.

No Afrikan man, who recognizes that he is at war, who recognizes that his children need to be raised as Afrikans in the event of his death in battle, who understands that it takes two strong adults to model the concept of community in our homes, would want some passive, airhead in his bed. With all that we have gone through together, who in their right mind would expect Afrikan women to be anything but strong. That the idiot box is trying to revise the image of the weak European woman in movies like Vampires, Tomb Raider, and Resident Evil has not changed the fact that Afrikan women are mentally and stronger than them. Nothing has changed that.

Marcus 3X: Are the excuses that black male’s use presently the same as the ones used by our ancestors?

Professor Crawford: That depends on whether you are talking about recent or relatively ancient ancestors. There is a difference now and then in how Afrikans saw themselves and others, which socially regulated whether or not they had a desire to mix with others. And the difference is one of cultural domination. When Afrikan culture dominated our being there was no chasing of the European because they were seen and understood for what they were and they were not brought into our homes as mates. With time politics and intensive contact led to us allowing intermarriage to small degrees because it tied people together through the blood of their royalty. With invasion after invasion of our continent by Europeans and Arabs came a series of continuous rapes that produced what John Henrik Clarke, Chancellor Williams, Doc Ben and others rightly called a mongrelized mulatto population whose loyalty was to their European and Arab fathers. During these times, Afrikan women were either forced or saw it expedient to the survival of their family to sleep with the enemy.

European and Arab women generally did not accompany the male invaders and this contributed to the primarily European, but also Arab, practice of raping the women and sodomizing the men after victory.

Still Afrikan men did not seek out European or Arab women for their mates. It was not until Maafa, the great genocidal destruction of Afrika, brought about by the murder, exportation, colonization and enslavement of Afrikans and their assimilation into the white supremacist mentality of European culture that Afrikan males lost their Afrikan minds and came to see European, and virtually anything other than Afrikan, women as more desirable than Afrikan women. But still the excuses of forty or a hundred years ago are nowhere near as sophisticated as those of today.

The movement by Negroes to interracialize the world has been growing for many generations among those vanquished individuals who chose to embrace and sleep with the enemy and produce offspring. It has taken on the momentum of a religious crusade. And it is supported by those who see their global power threatened by the “dark� hordes that have come to see the lies in their truth, who have remembrance of the Maafa and are willing to die acting on that remembrance. Obviously, Negroes are more aligned with the European power structure and, therefore, are able to pursue their interests of creating a separate, buffer class of mulattoes who straddle both worlds.

The mulatto buffer class is a creation of European imperialism, and European culture drives Afrikans who feel powerless in it to seek acceptance in it by removing their color. Everywhere you find us and Europeans, you find Negroes working to elevate themselves above Afrikans and closer to Europeans. The excuses they use to this end are not as important as the politics of europhilia (absolute love of whatever is European) and self-hatred.

They will use whatever excuses/lies have the possibility of becoming truth through repetition.

But it is our responsibility as warrior scholars to show these excuses for the mentacidal and genocidal treason that they are.

Marcus 3X: During slavery white men targeted black women with their sexual corruption while claiming blacks were sub-human. I consider whites to be hypocrites when they get mad when they see an interracial couple while behind closed doors they try to get their freak on with non-white women. Why do you think white men targeted black women when they were supposedly against race mixing?

Professor Crawford: Well, whether they are contributing to their own genocide is in question. Yes, Frances Cress Welsing vividly brought to our attention that their fears of losing their so-called racial superiority is grounded in their knowing that white mixed with anything else is no longer white and can never again become white.

We must ask ourselves about the intensity of this fear. We must ask ourselves the question of why does every living thing benefit from the presence of the Sun but it gives them cancer, it kills them. We must ask ourselves how desperate a people are to survive on top and intact as a race who see the salvation of all humanity only in their divine ability to define and instruct others and the way of this world.

As The Last Poets rapped, “the white mans got a god complex.�

However, many know that they are not after biologically blending with Afrikans, they are after our melanin. They know it is what connects us with the Sun. They see melanin in the same way as they see land and culture, as something they can steal, possess and control. In the same way that they believe that if they can learn Afrikan dance or drumming that they will have rhythm, they believe that if they can ingest enough melanin without gaining color then they can become Afrikan in the sense of being protected from the death that our Sun brings them. Amalgamation is only one of the ways they are using to see if they can get melanin without losing their whiteness.

The children of these unions are their experiments. They want to see if they can make black whiter and whiter without losing the melanin effect.

You also asked about their drive to sleep with Afrikans before they were aware of what the Sun did to them. The answer is not complicated and I have discussed it extensively in my upcoming book The Sex Imperative.

They have no self-control when it comes to physical pleasure, or physical stimulation that can in any way be construed as pleasurable. Because they absolutely lack spirit, they seek fulfillment on the physical plane. Sex with captives was/is the easiest way of continuously gaining enough “feeling� to believe one is vested with spirit. Injecting their degenerate sperm into women of color also saves their women from pregnancy, a condition they have fought against ever since the glory it brought the women who bred the most babies for food when they were starving in the caves of Caucasus Mountains waned with their invasion and theft of others resources.

Today, given the pregnancy rate of European females on the idiot box, you would think their tolerance for the pain motherhood brings women in the West has grown. But is only out of fear of genetic annihilation. It is only because they want to reverse their negative population growth. And don’t assume the captivity of Afrikan women and children is over. Besides the reduction of so many Afrikan women to the status of prostitution, the international market in children from the Afrikan continent, for both the heterosexual and homosexual exploitation by European males, has exploded in the last decade. Afrikan children are being shipped in unprecedented numbers into new and old Europe.

And the homosexual pedophile tourism trade, where vacation packages are set up solely around the sexual exploitation of boys, has exploded, especially in Azania (South Africa) and Nigeria, although Bangkok, Thailand remains its global capital.

Where there is no morality, there are no moral constraints on sexual intercourse. Power is morality in European society and power is defined and measured as ones ability to exploit those who do not have the ability to arrest your aggressions or retaliate. And when extreme individualism guides the behavior of adults who already only have the control of children over their baser desires, sexual exploitation of whoever has an office and is unable (physically or mentally) to withstand your aggression is ongoing. You also mentioned two words that deserve elaboration.

First, in the context of this discussion, the term “freak� is quite appropriate when describing European men (and women). They were/are the sexual aggressors. They bring and introduce sexual perversion and extreme into our bedrooms. Secondly, in terms of the Afrikans as subhuman argument, if we didn’t know Europeans, we might even find it difficult to understand how a people who have a strong history of having sex with sheep, chickens, horses, dogs, cows and any other animal or thing that they could fit into, or could fit into them, would call a people who only had heterosexual relationships with each other subhuman.

Marcus 3X: My favorite chapter in the book is I JUST FELL IN LOVE. In this chapter you challenged Earl O. Hutchinson, author of The Assassination of the Black Male Image, and Robert Staple’s (author of Black Masculinity) position that black men (who) marry white women are not culturally grounded. Why do you believe that so many black scholars take this position? Have you come across any other black scholars that take the same position?

Professor Crawford: Most take the position because it is safe, because it allows them to keep their jobs, friends and social prestige as intellectuals.

The same applies to any position you take that challenges the status quo or the so-called superior reasoning of the European mind. Everything that gave you security before you choose to take a confrontational stand works against you when you go against the grain. However, many of us take the position that interracial coupling is desirable and beneficial to Afrikans because they truly believe it. They are culturally grounded in European culture. They have submitted to their inferiority and seek salvation in whiteness.

Marcus 3X: I was shocked when I first learned of [b]J.A. Rogers and Frederick Douglass marrying white women. Considering the social climate that these men worked in I would have never imagined that they would marry outside of their race. What do you believe made these men marry white women? Did your opinion of these men as well as their works change once you learned that their wives were white?

Professor Crawford: Some Afrikan men who speak strongly against racial injustice believe that they have overcome the effects of these injustices themselves. They often see themselves as colorless examples clearing an interracial path for their people.

They believe that because they point out white supremacy and its bastard child racism that they are above the propaganda and discrimination every other Afrikan has been socialized into and become victim to. Of course, those of us who have not intellectualized ourselves out of our race-based cultural indoctrination know better. And if we look closely at the solutions most of these misguided individuals embrace, they do not favor Pan-Afrikan nationalism, an unqualified Afrikan center for Afrikans. Or, if they do, their platform is based on an Afrikan empowerment that will somehow force Europeans to respect us, love us and feel remorse for what they have done and continue to do to us. And that should in no way be our priority.


However, we often find that these individuals get caught up in Afrikan political systems that have been misinterpreted, stolen and tailored to individualistic European capitalism. We find that a number of these intellectuals have/had Marxist (European-style) communist/socialist leanings.

And this hybrid political philosophy places the problem of class above race.

Today, we find this Marxist confusion evident in the voices of pseudo and credentialed intellectuals who are bedding the enemy such as Charles Barkley, William Julius Wilson and Marian Wright Edelman. To these individuals, if we can strip capitalism of it’s class problem then the race problem will magically disappear because Europeans will no longer be able to play the race card to maintain their class privilege.

As far as the scholarship of Afrikan intellectuals who sleep with Europeans go, their mentacide in this area does not exclude their brilliance in analyzing the unwarranted historical aggression of the enemy or our condition. Franz Fanon’s The Wretched of the Earth, C.L.R. James’ The Black Jacobins and Jomo Kenyatta’s Facing Mr. Kenya are classic examples of this brilliance.

But, at the same time, their brilliance should not make us ignorant to their peculiar mentacide. We should never allow their personal confusion to lead us to believe that race is irrelevant.

Too often our mistake is to imitate an individual’s personal life because we admire their public statements. We must become more critical of all those we seek to learn and become Afrikan through. What you do is a more accurate reflection of what you think than what you say. If you love Europeans in their/your beds then it makes no difference how badly you talk about them.

What does the European have to fear from an Amiri Baraka, Derrick Bell or Ali Mazrui? They know where your heart is at from where you sleep. I take the personal lives of those Afrikan scholars who sleep with the enemy, along with that part of their professional statement that supports any thought in that direction, and dismiss it as I do the Europeans and European culture that breeds such confusion.

I seek to constantly disentangle the European from the Afrikan and discard it, especially as it is found in Afrikans.

Historical fact is historical fact. So the confusion lies in the interpretation of the facts, not the facts themselves.

And we are able to gather historical fact from both the Afrikan who privately pines over the European as well as the devoted European racist himself. It is the confusion of both types which should concern and alert us to dismiss their personal priorities and politics.

Marcus 3X: Of all the men that you have come to find out had non-black spouses, who surprised you the most? Why?

Professor Crawford: The revolutionary Afrikan scholars and leaders like Franz Fanon, Jomo Kenyatta, C.L.R. James, Amiri Baraka (Leroi Jones), J.A. Rogers and Kwame Nkrumah.

Most hurt me so badly because I held them up as models of Afrikan manhood when I began to study the foundations of my Afrikan center. Being Afrikan is personal, so to say, in an individualistic European fashion, that it makes no difference what Afrikans do in their bedroom is a contradiction in terms of community. In a community/nation, people are responsible to each other, not others. If you are fighting the enemy with words and/or physically, but you are sleeping with their wives and daughters (and in some cases husbands and sons), something is terribly wrong. This is a contradiction in thinking that, usually when studied further, often speaks to the true intent of the “revolutionary.�

Such confusion is to be expected from the likes of a Julian Bond, Henry Louis Gates, Shelby Steele, Clarence Thomas or Alice Walker. But there should not be a contradiction between what an Afrikan man, or woman, thinks, says and does. To harbor your enemy while attacking your enemy is a most serious contradiction.

Marcus 3X: Recently it was made public that Michael Jordan had been cheating on his wife for a number of years (like we should be surprised). The majority of the women have turned out to be white with one being a porn star (Kylie Ireland). According to the January 29, 2002 issue of Globe “Jordan has a particular taste for Asian girls, statuesque blondes and stunning redheads.� When I read that passage in the Globe I immediately started to think about a chapter in your book entitled A BETTER SEXUAL FIT that covers the excuse some black men use saying Asian and European women are made for a better sexual fit over black women. Why do you think so many black athletes such as Michael Jordan have a sexual fling for non-black females? Do you think Jordan’s affairs with white women will have any negative psychological effects on his children?

Professor Crawford: Again, we assume that most athletes, because they spend some time on college campuses and have been made into media stars, have some understanding of white supremacy and have not been bombarded throughout their lives with images of non-Afrikan beauty like the rest of us. We expect them to know better because they are supposed to be more worldly and, therefore, more conscious of the politics of race. But there is no reason to assume or expect this.

If anything, we should expect less of them because of the loyalty to the European nation that they have been led to internalize and exhibit because of their national image.

If Europeans allow them to represent us on the national level, they will demonstrate a love of European interests. They will think and speak as Europeans and have the desires Europeans have impressed upon them. One of those desires, at this point in time in the continuum of self and community disrespecting thoughts and actions, is the blind desire to sleep with anything but Afrikan women.

As far as the children are concerned, in western context, fathers, and mothers, cheating on their spouses has no real or lasting negative outcome. It is a culturally correct behavior. Fidelity is abnormal in European society.

So, if anything, they are receiving the same early introduction to this selfish, self-centered, pleasure-seeking reality that most other children do. It is a lesson that increasingly comes earlier and earlier. Money buys morality. You just have to be smart enough not to get caught if you can’t pay the price.

Children learn from their parent’s mistakes. The mistake here was not disrespect to one’s spouse or lying at the alter, but getting caught and embarrassing the family. Children become adults who master not getting caught and who politically organize to turn their parent’s “mistakes� into normal behavior for everybody so they can do it without penalty.

I for one do not know if he was or is now. If u're seriously interested in an answer, email him and ask. I think he shows one at his website. Not that what I do makes any difference to u, whenever I disagree or dislike an author's position and that person shows a contact number or address, I use it. Is that all u see in the interview? The omission of a few names!?! And an insinuation of something implied in a mysterious use of the word, "relations."

I hope others readers get more than that from a respected man's works who is a Scholar/Warrior/Husband/Father/Educator and co-director of an Afrikan Centered Shule. I'd say his works bear witness for him. And unless I could or do produce, even a book, that is more informative and in a better form than his I'd put my mouf on shut. And keep my ears and eyes open more I might learn more.

But that's just me...

Great article. It really reaffirms the notion that in a culture steeped in white supermacy, there is no such thing as color blind, for the opressor or the oppressed. The sons of the opressor inherits the sins of the father, and a white man in america can never love a black woman without these sins infilrating the relationship in one form or another. The psychosis of the atrocities committed run too deep. These observations are from personal experience, it can be very difficult for a young black woman, I can relate to the college student with tears in her eyes, wondering why all the black man only want white women, that type of rejection cuts deep.

did you read what i wrote about black families today? this article speaks volumes man, i think class and gender also accounts fora lots of stuff,amazing enough when i moved to toronto,one afrikan sister told me that blackman here rarely go out with black women,that blackman can not handlea strong black woman,it is sooo true to kanadian society as well, and me an enlightened individual lol can not finda conscious woman as yet man,great article and appreciated ! muito obrigado and remember....
