Vusamazulu & Revolutionary Spirit

Vusamazulu & Revolutionary Spirit

Credo is the official storyteller and keeper of the history of the Zulu people and he will reveal knowledge on these videos that, up to now, has only been available to the highest initiates of the African shaman traditions. He has pledged himself, despite a stream of attempts and threats to his life and his wife's life, to work with David Icke to expose what is really happening in the world and who is behind it.

This is a poem he wrote today committing himself to this end:
"When kings are slain, and a pope is sent to hell,
when on a marble slab..a murdered princess lies,
a pale sacrifice to the beasts that rule the stars,

When out of the sky a stricken warplane falls,
trailing behind it long bridal veils of flame,
as missiles rage and red hot cannon roar...

When the battle tank briefly rules the blood drenched plains,
an iron tyrant on another's stolen throne...
and it's long cannon shatters the trembling skies with sound,

When nameless soldiers die friendless and unknown,
in Africa's valleys or Kosovo's snow-bound plains,
and whole tribes perish of hunger, disease and war...

When money is built into a jail to hold humankind
and love has died and compassion is unknown...
and lies become truth... and truth becomes a lie in a nameless city

When, in streets who have no love,
numberless children know hunger and abuse...
In countless homes where brute force rules supreme,

women have become blood-spattered slaves,
strangers to love, healing and respect,
strangers to the gentle and comforting word...

Whose guilty shoulders must bear
the heavy beam of crucifixion, all the ill we see?
Whose quivering back must bear the barbed scourge?

For all the evil and all the pain we have known
Weavers of lies, brewers of lies,
who can strike at people with weapons of the night

against which no armour and no shield can prevail.
The written word is their poison-coated sword,
the tinkeling coin their cull and crop of maize...

Murderers of nations, Africa's deadliest foes,
I curse your footsteps wherever you may go,
In whichever cave or dungheap you may hide,

I curse you all...may Heaven blast your eyes.
Tell Jabulon, the demon you call God,
Nomabhunu's son defies him to his face,

I swear by the stones on my mother's sacred grave,
that as from this moment, I will fight you to the end.
Against your kind, against your Masters too,

I will not cease to raise the Sword of Light.
For all you have done and all you have yet to do,
I will fight you to the ending of my days....."

Credo Mutwa

(Baba note: he's now known as VusamaZulu Mutwa. I hope today's "Poets" etc take note of this POEM! VusamaZulu, if still with us, is over 80 years strong. A friend showed me a photo he'd taken standing on a thigh Vusamazulu's hand sculptured over 20 foot high stone statute. Of what? An Afrikan wombman... shades of the Olmec people. Ase!)

Last I heard this respected elder, over 80 now, was living outside Cape Town right next to the Atlantic Ocean.... still sculpturing, healing etc and battling those set to kill him and family.

I've read it; its over 600 pages packed with metaphors and symbolic stories. He cautions readers about them.

Can i jump in?

Greetings Brethren and Blessed Love,

My name is Joanie and I'm a Recovering Afrikan amerikkkan and Representative from the Voices in the Margins.

Thanks Baba for the post. The information presented sounds extremely interesting. I would love to hear some of his stories. Are you willing and able to share some of his metaphors from the book Baba?

In case you hadn't noticed, I tend to think and speak using metaphors, cliques, and music (amongst other things) and do best in expressing utilizing these tools. For me, these alternative forms of expressing works best as i am able to clearly articulate all i see, hear and do in this life. Does this make sense?
With that said, I can really appreciate this line in the poem, "The written word is their poison-coated sword". I guess that's why it is so costly to get "educated". You learn the rules of the game. (see my post, "Let's talk") Writing /communiation is key Due to the reverence for the written word, and the ensueing restrictions and limitations determining exceptability, i had great difficulty in passing my exams towards the PhD.

I do best speaking as i experience having enough space for the integration of feelings. I believe this in turn, supports the type of behaviors neccessary for growth and change.

Thanks for allowing me to Share.

Ohhhh Okulaja! I picked and chose; for me it was a very difficult read. I too didn't read it all; and yet I'd spend long periods glued inside the book; at times it was like watching a spectacular movie; I even heard the horrifying screams and war cries and felt some of the cold hearted plunging spears etc clean through a person's body. I couldn't put it down! He spoke about the first Marimba; which interested me; I was reading Yurugu then too. But ask Akyeame 'bout it; he's much younga than me, like maybe 40 yrs yunga. I remember vaguely descriptions of many many wars, mini and big ones. Much intraClans and tribes, especially after the arrival of The Strange Ones, as he calls the A-rabs and others I identify as Byzatines (Turks) or Romans or Vikings (least of all). He described'em as blond haired bushy beards wearing metal helmets, carrying shields and swords.... I think broad blade ones. I remember him describing the divide and attack tactics/stategms; the raping, ice cold murders; he also spoke of the two Shaka's: one a sniveling punk. He does a very metaphorical full of symbolic language story of creation, including first wombman, etc. He spoke of the great and varying healing techniques of "medicine men" of many miracles etc. He said some very disparaging things about the people of Zimbabwe; I think that they'd aided the The Strange Ones. Remember now I read skip'n and hop'n throughout. I vividly remember that after the British had come and did their atrocities in Zulu lands he described a wood carved piece that was made throughout Zululand that all the Zulus knew its meaning. The piece was big seller to the krakkkas. Little did they know that whoever was seen with one, by a Zulu from that time to 800 years later, was prime target to be iced, as repayment for what'd happened in Zulu lands. Sons were taught that.

Also now I remember the Great Secret that his last teacher, a sista, told him that the common people did not know, that: EVERYTHING IS EVERYTHING!

I'm out, bruhMan, ask a younger memory.... hope this helps a lil, tho....

Aluta continua!

PS: yeah and he explains why he's revealing what he did; he'd seen that the youth of his days were turning to Europeans for schooling, trainings, etc to leave their traditions and training stagnant. He felt that his knowledge had to be revealed 'less it would disappear. Maybe that's why upon arriving here in 1999, he announced a cure for AIDS! And was quickly never heard of again in America. He hatted out to his home base, Cape Town. Also he told of being forced by his father to attend Catholic school whose priest changed his name to Credo; he denounced the teachings, at the urging of I think his GrandMama who told him to return to his traditions, his Zulu culture and became a Keeper of their Knowledges. I really did not remember any "secrets" b n revealed, unless they're lock'd w/i the metaphors, stories and the like. He does caution readers that he uses many symbols. He does not use dates; he describes scenes and scenarios...

peace...i must've had a lot of time on my hands cause i read it from cover to cover...even the slightly odd articles of his at the back...but he talks about these 'phonecians' who helped one ruler to power with weaponry to unite the rest of the people...after they were all united under this ruler they took control and used the infrastructure of rulership to exploit all of Afrika sending Afrikans into mines etc...i tried to find the part of the book it was in but it's too massive with no index to just find the page...the most interesting thing abt this is why he writes it as one always hears 'let's unite' but this was the first i'd heard about unity...hmmm...i guess like what WE see all over the continent...Afrikans united into 'states' for easier governing and for more efficient exploitation...it makes me wonder abt a united states of Afrika and if it would just make for more efficient genocide...things that make u go hmmmm...but i'm about to be out...Baba Bobby Seale is speaking up here in about 25 minutes...stay BlackNificent y'all,

AK

Of course, I'm willing ... but unable: don't have the book now; it belong'd to public library. I reluctantly returned it. And I don't have a "Keeper of the knowledges" photographic memory like say a Dr. John Henrik Clarke. U kno the public schools snatched "rote" teaching out of the schools after they became intergrated. Our teachers had and used it. yt said: unh unnnn... not no more... And such as speed reading and Language Arts programs flooded'em. Add TV, esp. color TV, with its hidden images and messages; its tachistoscopic flashing of images, some seen others unseen, in mass mind control efforts that spurred a Canadian professor to pen a book: Subliminal Seduction blended with big city life today, its a wonder I can remember to open my eyes in the mornings!

Do u mean cliques like in the Meriam Makeba's "clic" sounds in her singing? or do u mean cliche' No I hadn't noticed; do u think if some descriptive images are included it'll help? A very proficient writing brutha advised me once: subject, verb - right away! Then change the rhythms, like a scat singer. And methinks if more of our talented writers, educated like most of us, in proper english will bust through that restriction, that spirit controlling construct to use say, just how we speak or what's loosely called Ebonics, while changing the tempo in phrasing etc - ahhhhhhhh spirits will easier become joined! The written word can be transformed into a call/response of voices... u think?

Does this make sense? yep...

u kno what I think 'bout this. U got it; now's a time to reach inside; to "talk" w/ur ancestors or as Dr. Jewel Pookrum says: we each have a gene that houses upto 3 thousand years of OurStories, including answers to our everyday needs. So u need, if I may say so, a vehicle to express what u've learned. My thing 'bout difference 'tween a pro and a non-pro? The pro earns money do n it. Bust. All that udda stuff 'bout certification, examinations etc are controlling instruments for making money and weeding out undesirables per their definitions. Try it. And hold hands with your ancestors. At least one is sitting right inside u. Then the ones on either side, in front and behind will bcome visible. That's what I was told.

Musings Of Mutwa

"Years of careful investigation had taught me the European powers that had colonized Africa had done more than just beat our people into submission with artillery and rifles. They had done more than simply sow confusion amongst our people by introducing many conflicting versions of the Christian religion amongst the people.

They had deliberately so brain washed our people, that Africans had lost all self-knowledge, self-love, self-respect, self-pride and self-dependency. If you rob a people of all these things you turn them into a race of robots, forever dependent upon you. And even if you stood up and walked away from these people, and said tot them that you were giving them back their freedom, they would stand up and follow you wherever you are going for their minds were still your slaves even though their bodies were now free of your chains.

I believed then as I believe now, that the African has never really gained freedom and independence. Which is why our people have not been able to achieve what nations such as India and the tiger Nations of South East Asia, which were once also colonized by the white people as we were, have today achieved.

For example today India is a nuclear power feared and respected by all nations on earth. India is admired for its great culture and its ancient religious philosophies as well as its other philosophies. While Africa is a downtrodden casualty of history forever dependent like a whipped slave upon her former oppressors.

This breaks my heart as a black man, I who, over many years of travelling through my motherland, have discovered that there was a time when we, the black people now held in contempt by many races were once masters of the world. When we, now derided as a nation of savages incapable of ruling itself were once the tutors of the early world, feel great bitterness, when I see how far we have been made to fall. We whose sons and daughters once walked tall in the Americas, not as slaves but rather as civilizes and rulers. I wept when I found out that we were once the founders of some of the worlds oldest civilizations.

We were there in Sumeria, we were there in India, we founded great kingdoms in Cambodia, and the first man to be saluted as emperor of China was one of us, a son of Africa, a black man. Buddha was a black man from Africa, his earliest statues confirm this. Krishna was a black warrior. The goddess Kali, is depicted as an African woman. Even the bible states that Nimrod was a great man in the eyes of the Lord and he was the father of Cush, who founded the great cushite nation.

I weep even now when I see Africans slaughter each other in the streets of South Africa, now supposedly a free nation. I weep even now when my people hunger and suffer in the veld in South Africa. I weep even now when Euro centric education is being fed to our children. Fed in order to make them Afrofobes, creatures that hate and despise their motherland, which look down in contempt upon their own people, because this is what all European educated black people do.

They despise Africa and all she stands for. And they are in contempt of the culture of her people. They are still even now doing the colonialists dirty work for them, because if you want to destroy the culture of a nation, you must brainwash the youth of that nation and make them do your dirty work for you.
