Just finished chapter 6. Anybody want to discuss the book? If nobody has anything to say, I'm going to start to talk about some more of the things I like that have caught my interest so far.

I love the part where Assata handled the guards in the lunch room and how when it was all over with the same crakkka that was across from her when she was in the hospital pointing a shotgun at her and switching the safety on and off had got his face cut. im feelin the whole book I went and purchase another copy.

I know this thread is old but I have to speak about this book because it is the one that set me on my current path. I was wandering around a campus bookstore and I randomly picked it up, not knowing anything about the woman, or even the struggle. This book means a lot to me.

You can find it online or in certain bookstores at a reasonable price especially considering the fact that its worth so much more.

I still haven't finished it (I read 5 or more books at one time but I'm near the end) I feel that is a what we all need Our own point of view of what is going on because if you just heard of Queen Assata you would just get Millions of different accounts of her life and who she is. Sometimes you need to just get the real story from the person who lived it.
