Francesa esclavitud tan cruel.

    3
    Haití
    ¡Qué cosa Haití!
Aislamiento. Racismo. Ocupaciones. Dictaduras. François y Jean-Claude Duvalier. Tonton Macoutes. Tráfico de órganos y sangre. Sida. Neoliberalismo. George W. Bush. Tragedias humanas. Tragedias naturales. Tragedias. 0120-1-2010: Terremoto 7.3 Richter. Réplicas. Se habla de 100 mil muertos…
Placas tectónicas. Fallas geológicas. Acumulación de energía.
Mucha tortura, mucho sufrimiento, mucho dolor, mucho vudú…

    Haiti
    What a thing Haiti!
I don’t know what to say, I can write well with my eyes full of tears.
I see a photography I was not expecting to see, delicacy for certain cold souls.
If I say that Haiti is the poorest country of West, I say what anybody has learned about Haiti.
If I say that it was the richest colony of America, nobody is going to believe me.
The French was a cruel slavery. Slaves exploited up to dying. The revolt begins in 1791. Maroons win the realistic army, erase the slavery and reach their independence in 1804. There was Françoise Mackandal.
I imagined for a long moment, Mackandal transmuted into that man of the photo, died with a distant look into another world, his shirt spotted with blood and an arm destroyed as that of Mackandal, leader of the Haitian revolution, turned into legend for the people and then in personage for Alejo Carpentier in the novel The kingdom of this world.
    2

    What a thing Haiti!
Isolation. Racism. Occupations. Dictatorships. François and Jean-Claude Duvalier. Tonton Macoutes. Traffic of organs and blood.VIH. Neoliberalism. George W. Bush. Human tragedies. Natural tragedies. Tragedies. 0120-1-2010: Earthquake 7.3 Richter. Replies. One speaks about 100 thousand dead persons… tectonic Plates. Geological faults. Accumulation of energy.
To much torture, a lot of suffering, very much pain, very much voodoo …
    Certainly too much energy.
Go away Haiti, turn yourself into butterfly as the mandinga Mackandal and take way out.
Burn in flames like the disabled Mackandal, escape and look for your destiny in the kingdom of Beyond…
    Mackandal sauvé!

Thnak you for your reflection, and prose voice ,its wonderful and painful as well. Your writing helps me to image the word 'haiti' which has been used as an icon for so many propaganic - statements [truths and untruths] and hostile perspectives that have been throw / insinuated at us /Africans.But we as black people have never really shown the spirit and the beauty of the land and people.let alone the crucial role haiti played as the first pan-african liberated state [self-liberated from capivity- bondage a freed nation-state],Federalist against england and king george that is Washsington.e.t.c.. they talked about the republic ideal ,but haiti prove the the founding fathers /europan liberals as well, to be hypocrates ,So she was punished, because she threated the slave economy of the americas. Thanks for the write up, we heard and respect you! god bless you and keep you well !

benedictions for you also and well …

there I leave another blog about struck haiti. some day there will be justice…!!!

      note:
      * I made a mistake on the translation,
… in the phrase where it says: I can write well with my eyes full of tears.
it must say: I cannot write well with my eyes full of tears.

      hi aragorn,
      hi brothers and sisters...

the venezuelans owe very much to haiti. ayiti is our small big-sister since that francisco de miranda and after simon bolivar were putting their confidence in the haitian solidarity to reach the freedom. our hands will be always ready to cooperate every time that will be necessary.

for us it's being difficult not to obey the empire. our president has been our force and guide. because of it, the international campaign in his against. the smallest objective is to destabilize, the biggest is to intervene. the usa tried to depose the government of chávez in 2002, later they sabotaged the petroleum venezuelan industry hitting all the sectors of the economy and they made suffer the worst part to the disadvantaged classes. nothing of this gave them results and then they grew worse the campaign of loss of prestige that they have mounting against our president and our government. now, after the meeting of the countries of america in cancún they are more destructive. whatever we are resisting and saying to the world with facts that we are in favour of the peace, the justice, the cooperation and the solidarity (especially with the weakest peoples) and that we want that the sovereignties be respected, that no country has to kneel down to other one. we are going to claim the people of grenade, of honduras, of panama, we cooperate with poor countries as haiti and other islands of the caribbe and we will be together with all those that are silent victims or are afraid of the reprisals of the empire.
      we are liberators!!!

My thanks to you again, Beatriz Aiffil. I am dazzled by the positive examples being set for the world by your beautiful and brave country. I know that, for example, worker-owned cooperatives are springing up by the thousands, and recieve government funds to help form them(while the U.S. government spends most of its funds on bailing out its mostly Anglo elites and world domination). But otherwise, they are self-sufficient and produce many goods and services for both the communities they serve and for export. They also get support from international donations-here is one I am going to send a donation of support to,I think you will agree why:

      Centro Madre

hello aragorn. thank you for your comments, you have reason, in fact our hymn is called " glory at the brave people".
united states do many investments in the world but generally it is to preserve their interests. any donation for innocent that seems is for me, suspect. i don't know to the Centro Madre but I hope that this initiative has not even second nor third intentions (excuse me if i'm wrong).
      kisses for all.
