Today was an interesting day for me. I had a good meeting at my son school, a pleasant ride on the subway all the while reading the Evil Examiner that was on the seat next to me. I then came across a small article titled "Crime History" ummm that got my attention, it was about Three Civil Rights workers lynched on June 21st only in 1964. And the artical read that on this day, June 21, 1964 three civil rights workers were lynched by the Ku Klux Klan during what's known as the Freedom Summer. Police arrested and detained James Cheney, Andrew Goodman and Micheal Schwerner in Neshoba County, Miss., before handing them over, after dark, into the hands of Klan members, who beat and murdered them before burying their bodies in an earthen dam.
The outcry after their disappearance caused President Johnson to pressure J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI to investigate the case. Navy drivers discovered the bodies of seven other missing blacks while searching for the civil rights workers. In 1967, seven Mississippi men were convicted on conspiracy charges. Eight other defendants were acquitted, and three had mistrails. Edgar Ray Killen was charged with three counts of murder on Jan,7 2005, four decades later, when he was 80 years old. He was convicted of manslaughter on June 21st, the 41st anniversary of the murders.
Now this Tape Skip have live life to the fullest enduring Freedom that those workers our brothers & sisters have never seen moreless tasted nor experienced. Meanwhile many other bodies countless numbers of bodies will soon become suddenly discover during their process as a reminder to us that it is now time to recycle the old chain gang starting by reporting such sadden news to remember them by no detail of these men work ethics during the struggle no mention of their families as if they had none, also not to neglect the fact of no mentioning of the other victims that were found names rather if it's relative to the case or not. It's a very small section on page 8. as if it's old news yet being called and Anniversary like it was something wonderful that happened just yesterday, but still not worthy enough to make front page reading. Such cowards even to this day destroy good linen sheets.
