In February 2007, Waller ISD held a meeting to discuss the allocation of funds from a $49 million dollar bond that would be issued. In the meeting, it was agreed that $7 million would go towards repairing and renovating the Waller High School Stadium.On a Sunday night, after schools had been let out, and without posting proper notice- a handful of board members met again. This time, the covert group of members amended the original decision and allocated $17 million to build a brand new stadium for the high school, while giving H.T. Jones Elementary less than 1% of the bond. The district is planning to spend $49.1 million in the predominately White city of Waller, Texas, while appropriating a little more than $250,000 in the City of Prairie...

Many have done it with MLK, Malcolm X, Tupac, Biggie, Jesus/Yeshua, and many others. They have fallen for a cult of personality, the overzealous praise, even to the point of worship in some cases, of an individual. This can give an individual an alarming amount of power over a large group of people, and if used the wrong way can cause a world of trouble. We did it, to a degree, during the Civil Rights/Black Power movements, and still do it today.

Tupac for example. Tupac was a conscious rapper (before going to prison or getting shot, and to a degree afterwards), but conscious or not he is seen as the "Greatest Rapper" in the history of rap (as far back as people of my generation, and a couple before that know or are...

In my Freshman Composition class, the professor is having us do a book report on this book called The Lexus and the Olive Tree. It's a 400+ pg book and we had 2 days to read it and do the book report, and the only copy of the book in the school library had been checked out, we had to buy the book online. Nobody really read the entire book, so we had to do the reports all over again... I decided to buy the audio version (no way in hell I'm readin 400+ pages in two days). And I'm struggling to get through it (It's taken me two days to get 1 hr into it...) bcause I can't take the bullsh!t this author is spittin out...
