ALL THE KNOWN EMPIRES HAVE RISEN TO POWER THROUGH VIOLENCE. IT IS CYCLICAL AND NECESSARY. CHANGE IS IMMINENT AND NEAR. SO LET'S PREPARE NOW!!! BECAUSE EVEN ROME FELL APART.
define 'empire' if you would... for there is at least one that i know of that did not commit violence upon her rise... khemit...!!! there are certainly acts of violence in her history but there was no reliance upon violence that was an integral part of her rise... most 'empires' do what modern day corporations do- i.e., growth through acquisition. the violence is played out in hostile takeovers and such. violence between nations is fast becoming a thing of the past as the 'new world order' comes into view. i can see nations who do not concede their sovereignty being attacked e.g. iran, venezuela, north korea etc... and nations who have conceded are used to make a point to keep others in line i.e., false flag operations...
i subscribe your text totally.
edwins, i don't believe that the violence is translated necessarily in bombs, weapon, etc. the corporations use generally another type of aggressions to exercise violence, but it's violence in the end.
mishun and edwin:
in venezuela we are firm, the empire will pass only over our corpses, maybe the empire uses a more refined form to give up ourselves, but we have the firm decision not to surrender. not to bend. it is an order.
i agree that violence is multidemensional.
Just a random thought: the white revolurtionaries who got rid of the british oppression? Them white boys did not fall to their knees and sing we shall overcome, they instead just overcame...violently.
whatever be the type of violence, but violence in the end, prepared or not the dominated ones, the end of the empire approaches increasingly. it must fall down. already it is giving signs of it end. as mishunfrumgod says: the roman empire fell down and we believed for the epoch that it was indestructible.
happy new year, brothers...!
