I have a new track up on my music page (www.myspace.com/rahaintherhythm). It's called "Salsonica (version 2)". I call it "Salsonica" because I was trying to merge elements of Salsa with elements of Electronica. Did I succeed? I have two other versions of "Salsonica" (versions 0 and 1), but I'm still debating with myself on whether or not I should put them up. In any case, leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts.

For those of you who have yet to check out "The Bell Tolls", that is also up on my page. Again, let me know what you think. I'm on a constant search to elevate my craft.

One of the greatest producers in hip-hop, he was unknown to many, but known to those that knew the beat and groove of some of our favorite artists like Com Sense, D'Angelo, The Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, The Roots, and countless others. His influence with the breaks and the soulful drums gave hip-hop a different kind of light. His sampling was choice, and he kept the samples as if they came straight from the vinyl to give that classic feel to today's most recognized musical artform (a musical Sankofa, if you will).
