You know, DeBeers is a wholesaler and distributor of Diamonds, and are JEWS at that. It'd be difficult to "boycot" them because diamonds are not "branded", you'd have to ask the jewler where they came from, and if the piece is not custom, or diamonds not "loose", he'd likely not know. We would likely have to stop buying diamonds, period.

How about we stop.Purchasing.Period. I know it will be hard, with not having all the labels and things that tell us we've progressed and are making it. What we are making is it better for othes and not ourselves. "Er'body wanna get to heaven, but don't nobody wan' die."

Every time we pony up to some counter to purchase some "ego" salve, we give permission. Everytime we "insist" on the right to buy something or shop somewhere, we say it's OK to treat us like crap and still take my money. Every time we run out and buy something, we support the madness that feeds our own destruction.

The "illusion" of progress expressed through material attainment is a virus that is killing us not-so-softly.

"Selective buying" I suggest should be re-framed as "selective" spending. We need RADICAL adjustments to our plight, and economic power is a mighty tool. Setting up our own businesses to peddle "our version" of materialism is not the answer, because we're still acquiring unnecessary "outer" garments.

U.S. Dollars are toilet paper. We need to begin to start holding Silver and Gold, buying it from the spot metals markets and go to a real store or value. Dollars depreciate through gov't borrowing and other "fixes." Saving is an illusion because purchasing power of Dollars declines, as with ALL Fiat currencies.

Sorry to go off point, but we need to boycot consumerism and become educated about this babylonian financial system. We need to understand merchantilism, which this post illudes to and how it is used to prop up the economies of the united States, Canada and Europe.
