I don't care what white people wear. It doesn't make me mad if they wear African clothes and it doesn't make me happy. All I know is that there is nothing on earth more beautiful than an African woman in African garb.

No, but we all know that yt just has to copy everything that we do we are the originators and never the imitators.I just look at them an laugh. It's a wonderful thang to know that we are so hated yet so loved all at the same time yt can't make up their minds on lovin us or hating us.

Brotha KB, you opened up a can of worms for real. I have seen this odd behavior demonstrated at many Afrikan events, cultural gatherings, and even at school. What bothers me more than the clothes is when you get white women calling themselves "Queen Aisha" and "Queen Khadijah". I have seen this many upon many of times. And every time I hear it, it just trip's me out. Secondly, I think I handle the clothing choices but when they wear a headwrap it just gets under my skin. There is a really sacred process that goes into the styling of a headwrap. It's an artform it itself. So when a see a white girl with a name like Aisha Jamillah and a poor excuse of a headwrap..well you know were Im going with this. |

who cares what they wear...i with RebelAfrika on this one. i can't let them pre-occupy my mind with nonsense like they wearing Afrikan garment. It is what it is, let them them do that. i think it's nothing to me personally. i don't think the clothes do any harm at all.

Europeans are BLAND and MONOTONE, from where I sit and see. They do outrageous things to "individualize" themselves. They have about as much consciousness about wearing African clothes as an African does wearing a suit and tie, or jeans -though a few might be of the "cultural appreciation" mindset. The Sudanese men in Sinai make good money braiding yte people's hair!! I ignore yte people in general, and those with braids and "dread-likes" particularly, and Egypt gets all the backpacker "culture" freaks/rapists. Whether they "should" wear African traditional clothes, I can't say. Mabye thy're buying the "tourist" version, I don't know. As long as I wear "european" clothes, I have NO COMMENT. Peace!

| i agree with most of you wholeheartedly. even though i wear european and asian produced clothing, its a lil hypocratic for me too feel the way i do. Most of our red, black and green wrist bands are made in china so whats the deal? are we gonna stop wearin'em? i dont think so. Uhuru |
