| Necklaces, all around... According to what I kno about the pig, Powell was a stinking captain slaughtering villagers in Nam in '65. That doesn't diminish his role as a subimperialist warmongering stooge nor does it diminish his capacity to have participated at any level of US involvement in the overthrow and murder of Patrice Emery Lumumba, and the subsequent and ongoing destabilization of the Congo. For me, Powell made his rep plotting the overthrow and murder of Maurice Bishop, and the destruction of the New Jewel Movement in Grenada, in 1983. From there he went on to oversee such glorious military campaigns like the invasion of Panama, the mining of Nicaragua's harbors, the invasion of Somalia under the auspices of humanitarian aid, the bombing of Serbia, and the overthro of Haiti's democratically elected government. For all that, he so richly deserves a bucket of medals and a bullet in the head. If he was in Congo during Lumumba's overthro, he deserves something a bit more special. I would personally ike to give him THE Necklace, on his birthday, of course!
