| Black Panther Movie to be released in February 2008!
Director R.L. Scott, of Shadow Motion Pictures, will be premiering the film version of the comic book character, T'Challa, the Black Panther, in the short film "The Black Panther: Blood Ties". The short film stars Jerome "Ro" Brooks as The Black Panther and features traditional African and African diasporic martial arts stylists. The film also stars Stic.man of Dead Prez. "The Black Panther: Blood Ties" will premiere in Atlanta, Georgia in mid-to-late February. R.L. Scott is also writer and director of the upcoming martial arts / action feature film Slums 13, for Miramax Films. Slums 13 will release worldwide in late 2008 and also features African martial arts stylists, including Lateef Crowder, the Capoeirista who fights Tony Jaa in The Protector and Baba Balogun Oyabode Abeegunde and several of Baba Balogun's students. Tai Mak (The Last Dragon), Mark Dacascos(Brotherhood of the Wolf; Only the Strong), Akon and Stic.man of Dead Prez also star in the film.

| Update!
The premier will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 8:00pm, at an, as of yet, undisclosed location. The location should be revealed this coming week. Tickets are available at Sounds-N-Da-Hood Records at Stonecrest Mall, in Lithonia, GA. The ticket price is $7.00. Tickets will also be available at the premier, which will also screen "The Making Of The Black Panther". Other surprises are also in store for what is predicted to be a packed house!
