It's out of print,you can try ebay,I found a few on ebay but they wanted too much for them and then it's the bidding process that jacks up the price even more.Some of the warriors on this forum have access to movies,documentaries, and other important information that are out of print or being overcharged for maybe they have a copy of this movie for cheap. Only person I know on here is Revolutionary Student you can pm him and see what's up Good luck with ur search Brother

a lot of people weren't happy with the main character being fictional though.

I can see how it could be taken as disrespect considering all the great panthers members they could have focused on

Man I used to have my students watch this movie every year. I lost my DVD though. Gotta look around the house for it. They liked this a whole lot better than "The Spook who sat by the Door"

When I was at Brown, Bobby Seale came there and he bashed this movie and the Van Peeples Family. Then he paused and did a promo for his BBQ sauce. Then he said something along the lines that the movie was a sham, that this movie helped to do more to damage the rep of the panthers than to help it, and that he and some other had already had a deal in place for a movie and that the Van peeples family swooped in and got theirs produced and distributed first.

To be honest, I really wasn't feeling Seale when he came out there and spoke.

Man the torrent is downloaded. turns out its got french subtitles, but the main shit is it has a FUCKING Password Protection on its encrytion!! PISSED!!!

I disagree, sometimes "fiction" is realer or truer than what we call reality. In other words sometimes "fiction" can be the only "reality" we know.
