I enjoyed it! Stephen Colbert is hilarious and Nas did a good job with the interview and the "Sly Fox" performance. Thanks for the post, nattyreb! P.E.A.C.E.

He could of answer better only if he had the peace. Some of us who don't have the peace ain't susposed to be in that predicament, and its a struggle(if some know what I mean). Props to street scholars and street disciples.

i definitely have to give Bro. Nas his due props for his appearance on Colbert, he did an excellent job, the song is on point. i understand your concern completely, Bro. Blackmind, it's a very real reminder that all of this mainstream media is enemy propaganda, hell-bent on the destruction of our people, not just FOX news! You are absolutely right! However, IMO this is an excellent start in exposing the whole beast, this is really tremendous in the sense that if this issue catches on, and people become really radicalized over challenging FOX (for starters), it could be an impetus towards a true grassroots movement holding mainstream media accountable and increasing independent media like never before! (In the song itself, even though FOX is the main target, other sources of media are at least mentioned.) So hell yeah, bash FOX to DEATH and make every day of their lives as filled with discomfort, annoyance and slow-burning agony as possible. This Bro. makes me smile because he is sincere, something so sorely lacking out there nowadays. Many times he shows himself to be incredibly naive, such as his recent statements that all the "old heads" sit down and shut up and that he, Young Jeezy, David Banner, and Barack Obama got the struggle covered. Also, my feelings about "n----r" are well known, i'm not gonna revisit that. But other times ... his overwhelming genius and boldness are something incredible to behold. i love it when i can agree completely with him! Quote:

Stephen Colbert is classic! Satirizing conservative reporters by posing as a conservative reporter. That's comedy. Most people who watch it understand it as comedy and nothing more. I enjoy it every once in a while.

I almost died when they showed the clip of O'Reilly's racist ass in full honky mode with his wig about to fall of. Nas is usually on point knock away some of the slag for the interviews and he'd get more people to understand his message.

| The pot callin' the kettle black.... They say we N I - Double G E R We - are - much more, Still we choose to ignore, The obvious. Man this history don't acknowledge us, We was scholars long before colleges. They say we N I - Double G E R We - are - much more, But still we choose to ignore, The obvious. We are the slave and the master, What you looking for? You the question and the answer. The fallacy of Division is committed when a person infers that what is true of a whole must also be true of its constituents (*ED note: "This would mean you" There are two main variants of the general fallacy of Division: The first type of fallacy of Division is committed when 1) a person reasons that what is true of the whole must also be true of the parts and 2) the person fails to justify that inference with the required degree of evidence. More formally, the "reasoning" follows this sort of pattern: The whole, X, has properties A, B, C, etc. Therefore the parts of X have properties A, B, C, etc. That this line of reasoning is fallacious is made clear by the following case: 4 is an even number. 1 and 3 are parts of 4. Therefore 1 and 3 are even. In other words. Nas is a yuppie; Drumming up sales and using the "emotive" qualities of racism; it sound just like Barrack Obama on Father's Day! I'm not "ignoring" "cultural genocide" or the "illegal detainment of African people. I will not take "responsibility" for being the "slave and the master" cause then "we's" echoing' "de house on fire master?" not rightfully "'noins' wut we's goin do?"
