Ötzi the Iceman and Similaun Man are modern names of a well-preserved natural mummy of a man from about 3300 BC (53 centuries ago). The mummy was found in 1991 in the Schnalstal glacier in the Ötztal Alps, near Hauslabjoch on the border between Austria and Italy. The nickname comes from Ötztal (Ötz valley), the region in which he was discovered. He is Europe's oldest natural human mummy, and has offered an unprecedented view of Chalcolithic (Copper Age) Europeans. The body and his belongings are displayed in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, northern Italy

This is Chulina.

To determine the oldest natural mummy
these 2 dates make Chulina 750 years ahead of radiocarbon of Ozti.

Ötzi died 4'546 ± 17 BP, while l of the results of radiocarbon dating of Chulina: - A δ 13 C = -19.5 ± 1.1, a typical value, - An age of 5'260 ± 5'335 ± 50 BP and 50 BP ie 6'000 years ago-calibrated.

A 160,000-year-old skull found in Ethiopia is the oldest known modern human fossil. Because the skull is slightly larger than those of modern-day humans, scientists have classified it as a subspecies -- Homo sapiens idaltu. © 2000 *subspecies meaning different than white people/different species. Regarded as different groups rather than as a single varied group. Don't believe the hype!
