Brother RA, you wrote exactly what I was thinking and almost wrote in my previous post. Except, that's my favorite pick, and I know there are others who are partial to Sleeping With the Enemy or Devil Made Me Do It or Sonic Jihad. For me, I've got all of them, and they are all must-haves, but I've darn near warped my G-Funk CD from playing it so many times repeatedly. Especially tracks 3 & 6, OMG!!! One time fo' ya mind, Scarface and I thought you knew! I'mma bring it to ya. Psh. I actually broke down and bought the wax version of Guerilla Funk, as well as the wax single for Dead Prez's I'm A Afrikan, THEN, I repeat AFTERWARDS, went out & bought a turntable to play it on.

Listening to: The Lost Children of Babylon "The 911 Report." Now if you don't listen to another rap CD for the rest of this year, you GOTTA cop this one.

Paris went to Snoop Doggyish on Guerilla Funk, i was disappointed with it. It has about 2 or 3 songs that i dig but overall it was wikkety whack!

      Too many George Clinton remakes

His first cd was by far his most crucial and I would recommend that Paris project first.

I listened to a little bit of it last night. My favorite song on there so far is "Officer Down" by Uno the Prophet. "Made In America" by T-K.A.S.H. is hot too.

No such thing as too much George Clinton. And NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING Paris has EVER produced has turned out whack. Paris is an artist (as are others) a person should listen to for themselves, and be the judge. Although production or musical arrangement matters, for me, with political rap, it's all about the messages mostly. Paris has never failed to Bring it To Ya in terms of hardcore political education--no fluff, no bs, no holds barred!!! JMO.

Listening to: Askari X, "Message to the Black Man"--to borrow RA's sentiment, FYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! The whole album is fyah!!!
