Yea I listen to her father Jacques Johnson. She makes good music along with him. Right now I am listening to Stephen Marleys album though.

Gotta have some good old fashioned gospel music. I'm listening to the Wilmington Chester Mass Choir.

Don't insult someone's musical choice, man. That's one of the rules of this forum. No one is getting on you about your music choice, so don't get on someone else's. If you got beef with someone's music choice, you take it up with that person in PM.

      Thanks.

Listening to "Blind Man Can See It" by James Brown from the Black Caesar soundtrack. Das EFX's biggest hit titled "They Want EFX" uses the funky guitar and drums that start at 0:46 seconds and uses about 10 seconds of that for the hook.

It was a beautiful spring day in the mid 70's. Took my family to the park for a couple of hours. Went home and listened to mosty old school jazz. Today was my jazz chill out day.

I recently heard Ndegeocello's "Bitter Sweet" for the first time in years. I forgot how jazzy smooth that cut was.

gotta give you some props on the MIDNITE.

my favorite is love the life you live.

but last night me and my brand new friend stayed on the phone till 5:30a digging crates and trading songs like high school...playing "who sampled this".

we were going back and forth with the zevlove x, the first puba album, the purple tape, the diamond d, the low end theory, the listening, wild cowboys, the mecca and the soul brother...

the original songs we played were mad obscure, to the point that we were tripping off of one another for even KNOWING within 5 seconds of hearing it where the producers got the sample from...charlie mingus, art blakey, lonnie liston smith, roy ayers, etta james, wes montgomery, man it just don't make sense.

all's i know is that i'm just glad i got me a new friend. yay!!
