Stic Man of Dead Prez Comes to Richmond, Virginia
As the offical launch for the highly anticipated Open Your Third Eye
Project, the Get Conscious Think Collective is proud to present Stic Man
of Dead Prez on Saturday, Feb 25, 2005 @ the Black History Museum &
Cultural Center of Virginia.
Author of the Art of Emceeing, Stic Man has positioned himself amoung the
vanguard the black liberation movement through effectively fusing
pro-afrikan messages through the music. Albums Lets Get Free,
Revolutionary But Gangsta, Turn off the Radio & Get Free or Die Trying all
line the library of nearly every brother & sister I meet in the work to
uplift the afrikan masses.
The Open Your Third Eye Project's purpose is to promote the Black History
Museum & Cultural Center and raise the collective consciousness of the
afrikan community through book signings, poetry readings, community
forums, lectures and workshops. Donations will be taken at the door to
support the transportation and accomodations of the presenters. If you
