his version of The Bridge is over" reckin his own fellow QB homies. Big Daddy

Kane got too damn sexy as his career lengthened. Now if they battled

2DAY..Nas would eat Kris alive and spit him out then maybe give Kris a line to

help him in the battle. KRS1 had a show here in detroit this past summer

with X-Clan Dj Quick MC Lyte Whodini...(i believe that was all) and Kris

freestyle skills have diminished dramatically. Nas is the best lyricist in the

game today in my opinion and I say that without thought. Nope not even

Talib or Common can touch Nas! Wait...maybe Stic Man from Dead Prez ..but

thats it! But we gotta give the God from the QB SOME credit now...the kid is

nice and anyone who appreciates lyrics can F*ck with Nas...
a AZ could give it to some of these old cats too...i know i completely moved the subject (that's how conversations work-out most of the time anyway..haha). honestly they were teachers, yes but student build on the teachers work and improved it, just that simple. that's like saying Jack Johnson could Lennox Louis....naw...his technique too ancient and flawed...Lennox improved on those flaws...you know...1

This is how I came to know Kool G. Rap was the greatest. Because there was a point where I was RIGHT THERE with John P. in claiming that Nas was the GREATEST...REGARDLESS if he was old school or new school...and that he would SMASH the reigning "kings" and old school emcees. But when you listen to "Road to the Riches"...and when you listen to "Illmatic"...and when you recognize they BOTH come from Queens!!! Then you HAVE to bear witness to G. Rap.

Don't get crazy now bruh. Big Daddy Kane is one of the greatests. When it comes to Rakim and KRS though...I couldn't give it to Kane. But to me...G. Rap will give them a cats a run for their money. They are GREAT and all...but I'm telling yall...G. Rap....

Brutha J is nice...and I personally know him too. He lives out here in Cali now. As much as I love his message and his music...I really would hate to see him have to battle Kool G. Rap, because I would be sad when G. Rap ate him alive .

he could flow dont get me wrong. but 1 of the greatest? i think not. Now he IS under rated in the game. But he never even came close to having a complete album. not even his first.
