When Def Jam "allows" Nas to come out with an album entitled KIKE or 'hooked nose bagel eatin imposter of a jew' then we can talk about free speech and shit.

Unlike everyone else, before I pass judgement I'm going to wait until the album comes out and listen to it. I doubt Nas would just title his album "Nigger" for nothing.

He's always doing something strange. This the same guy that wanted to have a picture of Jay hanging from a noose at summer jam during their little feud. He's a strange dude, I honestly think he's not as smart as his lyrics display. His interviews are strange too, he might be bi-polar or something. I have everything he's put out but his last good album was godson to me. His new joints sound like he lost his flow. He don't ride the beat the same anymore. I might burn this tho, i be dayum i walk in a store and buy a album with Nigger plastered all over it. That probably not the cover anyway it's too basic.

If that's the album cover I hope that's what it is. It makes you think about the content behind it, it doesn't have "Nigger" stereotypes plastered all over it its some one saying "You think I'm just another Nigger even thought I'm sitting down reading a book of substance.....redefine your defenition of me"

I hope he one day some one comes out with an album in titled "Amerikkka" and really put the whole world on notice.

This guy is crazy creative I can't wait to hear this album. Folks are going to be mad but hey just like when Hip Hop Is Dead dropped people were mad. But it's True how is it yours if you don't control it. All those artist who took shots at Nas for saying that were mad because they know he's right. Brag and boast about all this money and power but when it's all said and done you don't own any of your music nothing but an employee for the crackers it's sad.

Dead Prez are rumored to be on the album...

they have already recorded songs with Nas....don't know if any of the cuts will make the final album though......

      Nas Working With Dead Prez?
      Written by: certifiedmatt
      News

When he's not playing Neal Cavuto's foil on TV, M-1 of Dead Prez is a rapper who sometimes collaborates with other rappers.

Take for example Nas. The QB O.G. has apparently with M-1 and partner Stic.Man for two track for an upcoming Prez release. M-1 talked to MTV News' Mixtape Monday squad about the project yesterday:

We've done quite a few songs with Nas. We have had a relationship for years. Stic had did a song with just him on it. And I did a song with just me and Nas on it. I don't know when it'll surface yet.

As for when, exactly, it will surface, M told MTV that Stic is wrapping a solo debut and that the pair will be looking for a new label following its release.

He should also work with Chuck D, Paris, KAM, The AAlikes, Killah Priest, Gza, Hell Razah, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, the Heiroglyphics, etc. There are too many tight emcees for Nas to do collaborations with. I'm pretty sure Nas is going to come strong with this album though.

Yeah let's give these europeans and other non Africans even more reason to use this word that our ancestors fought so hard against.

There is absolutely NO justification for any African to use this word as the title of their album and I personally will not be supporting this mess, I don't care what his reasons are.

I have weighed this CD it's cover and Nas' work for a minute now, I have found contradictory statements of consciousness with Nas' work over the years. Do I think he is a skilled MC, absolutely. I also have a hard time with him doing a song like, "I know I Can" or "I Can" and then using the term "bitch" in reference to Afrikan women. It is a tough and poisonous pill to swallow. How do I say to my daughter that she is a Goddess on the one hand and lip a Nas CD into my computer and her hear this "bitch" content. Could he have made this type of music and been "successful" (I use that term with a grain of sea salt" in the recording industry not using this and other derogatory terms? I doubt this greatly, at 38 years old I have grown tired of this "Nigger" argument, as it does not feed my child. I am constantly reinforcing the GOD/DESS concept against a backdrop of madness coming from the schools, churches and the like. I am constantly speaking to young people who have images of hypersexualized young men and women as role models. I am constantly fighting to protect the santity and holiness of my woman from males who would refer to her as either a "nigger" or "bitch". The great oracle that I call my wife has had children that I will not allow to be called nigger or bitch or any of the numerous names other than Afrikan that we call ourselves. Incidentally I wonder what the response have been had he called his CD any of these names,

      "Afrikan Power"

"The Story of Global White Supremacy"

"Pan-Afrikanism or Perish" (Dr. John Henrik Clarke)

      "White Nationalism"

      "Black Nationalism"

      "Pan-Afrikan Nationalism"

      "Killing Yurugu"

      "The Murder of George Washingtown"

"Bush Sucks, and so does Clinton and Obama"

      "Afrikans Wake the Hell Up"

"Revolution Now and As A Process!"

The only thing he said that made any sense was the part about the voting bill for Black folk.

I am, however, looking forward to the album.
