Near the end of the song is a re-make of a line/scene from a movie about the media but the name of it escapes me at this time.

Does anybody know? It's the part where the brother is telling the people to "do something I WANT YOU TO GET MAD!!!" Rather after the "different language" speech. Basically you'll know when you hear that part.
"We may be investigated, incarcerated or murdered for the things we dare to write...
But we are young and Black, fearless and free...
Every poem, every incandescent word is a personal revolution"

      The movie is called "Network".

One of my favorite tracks from the album.

Some people take themselves WAY TOO SERIOUSLY, when in actuality, no one else is really taking them as seriously as they think.

You are right in your assessment. The language spoken before the "Network"-type rant is from KMT.

The artist saying those words is Amen Khum Ra. Here is his myspace: MySpace.com - Amen Khum Ra Sounds Appearing on Twinkle with Badu - WASHINGTON, Washington DC - Healing & EasyListening - www.myspace.com/amenkhumrasounds

Here is the whole text and the translation of what is being said by Amen Khum Ra on the song "Twinkle":

"The words of my chant on Erykah Badu's song Twinkle: Aun Au Khu Mes Tahamu Khemu, Mesu Ntrrr Mut Tef Maatu, Apuat Khu Apuat, Smet Apu Mtu Ntrrr Anuk Kherrru. The translation is: We the brightest light, born from the deepest black, children of the Divine Mother Father, true right and exact, open the way shining ones, open the way, listen to these Divine words I say. The second chant that fades out says: Nuk Khumiu Khu Khu, Neb Heru Djeddjedu, Sekhet Maat Anru em Smai Tawiu. Which means: I am the infinite blackness, the infinite brightness, the All Awareness, forever establishing the field of truth and reeds, through unifying the two Worlds."

Wow, the entire presentation is just wow, makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Powerful, that Sista's creativity is completely off the charts! Asante sana for sharing!

Once again, DAMN, that touches me way down deep in my little Funkateer soul.

This my FAVORITE song on that album. Simple yet DEEEEEEEP!!! Im luvin it. Im downloadin that movie too soon. The best European movies to me are the old ones such as the one this exerpt came from. And the KMT language scares my "Christian " friends but its all good. THey think its some voodoo shit. TO each their own.
