Interviewer: How do you go about developing the spiritual bases?

Honorable Phillip Deere : Its already there, and its has been with us for thousands of years.

Many of our people are going back, especially our young people.

Our young people willing to stand up and fight against injustice done to our people.

Government spent billions, billions dollars educating the Indian trying to make the Indian who they are not.

They are returning back to what was given to them from the beginning of time.

Honorable Phillip Deere :It is going back to the beginning of time to find the way of life of the people.

Laws many times we argue about was made by man. But when we talk about the Ancient government, it was not established by any government on earth, because the government that we follow are thousand years old, and it is nothing new to us, it is government that is workable, and has worked for our people for thousands of years, until that government was interrupted, then we began to change our way of life, our language, our religion changed into Christianity.

The life we live today was forced upon our people, a government laid down by the white man to live by, and that is why we have many disagreements among our tribes.

We are practicing something that does not belong to us. When we look back at the Ancient government that we had, that government was workable for us for thousands of years with no disagreements.

Everyone who have been americanized have been confused, no matter what country it is. The countries that have been americanized are confused, to the extinct that they can not cross the street without getting run over, so they have too stop on the red light and go on the green one.

Take a look at the food we eat today, we have have became so confused that we do not know what we are eating.

Indians returning back to who they are. Mr. Indian Stands Up.

We are far removed from the Natural way of life, we do not know what we are eating and drinking, because of mind control, a life shoved on Indian people. Robot people.

There is no such thing as failure in life, until you try to be somebody else. There is no way you can fail if you are yourself.

The past of our ancestors, there was a way of life in which we found comfort, and satisfaction.

There is nothing that can take the place of being satisfied and happy in life.

Another man bought this system here, which is different from what we always had here. Our people got caught up into two ways of life, different cultures.

Ancient saying: one does not ride two canoes, because in times to come a mighty wind will come, and separate the two canoes, and one will fall into disasters forever, so we have to be on one canoe or the other. If we Turn around an look at the history of mankind, it is only a Human being way of life, but it so happens that the native people have preserve that way of life.

People have lost the meaning of the Sacred Circle. Church membership is declining. People are turning away from Christianity. Many of our people are going back to their traditional ways.

Our young people are hungry for something. Many young people are very interested in what I am talking about.

We have listened to the educated man long enough, the professors long enough, we have went to school long enough. Time to look at the Grass Root people.

We never had to depend on no other nations for our survival.

We had no need for no one to tell us how to live, we had a way of life and nothing was wrong with it.

Every since they made treaties with our ancestors, they begin to tell us how live to act and what to do. Manny laws made through Congress (reorganization) Acts, which is not working for the Indians. Plans made by those that haven't even seen an Indian. All plans made for the Indians failed.

The time has come that we have to come and make our own plans.

The government will not deal with us on Spiritual bases.

Many of our people said we will beat him at their own game. We are forgetting we are in his ball field, and he is changing the rules right in the middle of the ballgame.

As Elders in our Council, we are going to deal with the government on Spiritual bases, because they do not know how to handle it.

We don't want to approach the government as a good republican, democrat, catholic or protestant. We We we are going to approach the government as american Indians having our cultures, identity, and spirituality beliefs as we have.

With this, in accordance to the prophecies of our people the Indian people will emerge/overcome, because they have the understanding of survival.

This civilization is coming to an end and no government has control over it.

Every treaty with this countries has been violated. Treaty with america ignored. Ignored through the court systems

Our native people are related to nature.

There are certain forces that the government do not control.

It does not take the act of congress to make it rain, snow, and we know as native people the earth is becoming imbalance.

Eventually certain forces will come about to make changes in this country.

Elder in our Council/Conference to disuses: What made us survive? How do we get back to being independent?

Those who are making plans for everything else, those people are not aware of what is to come.

Those making plans for everything else, plans are for destruction instead of life. Water and air pollution, no one is solving that. Only a very few people are waking up as to how to survive.

The truth is hidden from the america people.

Students at universities are being deprived as to what they should be learning. The truth has never been bought out to our students.

Why students still have the John Wayne movie mentality about Indians?

The court can tell you who you are, when I know who I am, and I do not need a racist judge sitting there telling me who I am.

All these years the americans have Dug up our people bones from the grave to study our people.

Why don't they dig up their own ancestors bones and study them?

Don't tell me about the diseases that we had when we come here.

Don't tell me that the Indians was deformed.

Tell the people Napoleon was deformed, he had one short leg.

Tell the student that George Washington had black children.

Tell the students Benjamin Franklin had syphilis, which affected his mind, that is why he was fooling around with lightening

Don't be searching my history, search your own history.

I have seen Torcher chambers in Switzerland. Who is the savage?

We had no prisons, jail houses. What was history prior to Columbus?

We have survival schools everywhere now.

I went to Afrika, and I did not go before the press and said I discovered Afrika, because there was already people already there. Same when Columbus came to america.

THE FBI/Agents been to our survival schools over and over, thinking we were teaching the children to be militants. We only bringing out the truth to our children. The Native people are Knowers of the Truth.

A lot of times I go before the press and they ask how many I represent/followers, I have. I let them know I do not representing a thousand people, I represent the Truth, and it does not take a thousand people behind me to prove the Truth. If it is the Truth you have to admit it is the Truth.

Where did President Nixon go? the majority elected him, but the majority could not make him do the right thing.

If people believe in majority so much, and I would ask them, lets go down the street and burn every church house on the corner, how many followers would I get? No body will follow me to burn down these church house.
