Does the use of those words offend anybody here? Ive noticed that some black people actually get offended by those words...when whitey has far more worse to say about us...I'm confused about this....

in general, no. but i do think the constant use of such terms suggests a lack of power. that is, none of those words carries the impact of calling us by the n-word. its like we are straining to match them tit-for-tat. i dont want to feel powerless, nor do i want to be reactionary. simply stating their history and their politics has far more powerful than the word saltine for instance and it carries the impact of truth rather the stereotyping that the n-word holds.
