Ronoko Rashidi world traveler will be speaking on Discovering our roots, culture and Global African presence. This event is sponsored by the UNIA-ACL This is a fundraiser for the Legal Defense Fund and Black Star Enterprise Spoken word artists Kontro will perform and African Market Place will be available. Event held at Tree of Life Public Charter School, 2315 18th Place, NE Washington, DC General Admission $15, $10 for elders and students with ID's.
