The Conscious Rasta in Washington DC April 24 & 25 at Howard University

I am not suggesting that I support this (Friday evening) event (I vehemently do not), however, I think it would be interesting to hear whatever debate and other things come about as a result of the Friday evening (tonight) discussion at Howard University. Anyone in the area might be interested to attend just to get an idea of what is brewing. The Saturday event on the other hand should be very much worthwhile. See following details.


"Join Keidi Obi Awadu, aka The Conscious Rasta, at Howard University this Friday April 24th from 7:30 PM, and Saturday at Sankofa Cafe & Bookstore from 1-4 PM for two dynamic workshops. The Graduate Student Council is sponsoring a Two-Part Community Service Program, free to the public.

On Friday there will be a movie screening (Diary of A Tired Black Man) and discussion on relationships between black men and women and what we can do to bridge the growing gaps. This discussion will be undoubtedly quite lively.

Saturday we will focus on Healthy Living, Community Gardening and Organizing for Self-Sufficiency. Keidi will also demonstrate how to make our own Earthbox, a highly efficient means of growing food in portable containers.

CD's and DVD's will be made available for many of the hot subjects that have been featured on LIBRadio and within Living In Black.

Does Rasta's support Homosexuality? Maybe we need both to do a breakdown on the history of Howard University and how many "Conscious black" folk are selling out for dollars to the Homo Agenda particularly on a campus that was made for Mulatto's. For instance I am of the analysis that those that are practicing Homosexual activities and allow for our children to take part in this are not working for the Liberation of Afrikan people. Some have attempted to suppress info about some Scholars that have children practicing this life/deathstyle. For instance, there is one "Afrikan Centered" in D.C. and one in Chicago who's daughters both are suspect. The Afrikan centered person out of Chicago daughter is on Youtube dressed like a man. Now, this may not go into some standards though this is about Character as well. If European Imperialism has pushed these sicknesses i.e. disease and we have persons that should know better but refuse to stop this sickness from penetrating the black community than what are we to think about those who we are supposed to be listening to?? Next, There are too many Homo/Warriors per se out here that water down black people's movements. Many are opportunists that are willing to sell our children to your nearest internet pedophile on the prowl. So we need to look at the character of some of these people that we are listening to that for the most part will sell out for a Homo dollar. Many of these websites are infested with the disease of LGBT i.e. European Imperialism.
