Society Africana is a new social group for afro-descendent women located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We strive to provide a social outlet for progressive women by cultivating Africana sisterhood. We meet monthly for a social/cultural event. In addition to the monthly event, information will be forwarded about events in the Washington area that may be of interest to the Society Africana membership.
