Hear reports from the 2006 World Social Forum in Caracas, Venezuela from
Detroit participants.

(This event was previously announced for WCCC, due to scheduling
problems the place has been changed). The regularly scheduled MECAWI
meeting for that night will be held instead at 6:00 p.m. sharp at the
same location.

2. Sunday, Feb. 19, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Update on the Cuban 5
Hear Judge Claudia Morcum who will be in the Atlanta courtroom of the
11th Circuit Court on Feb. 14. A three judge panel overturned the
convictions of the Cuban 5 but the US government is appealing this
decision to the entire 11th Circuit Court to try to avoid freeing the
five or giving them a change of venue for a new trial.
