Documenting and Preserving a Legacy of Struggle and Faith

For many of us, history is what we read in books. But history is alive in the stories of those who were there. Come learn from the wisdom and experiences of Mama Imani Humphrey, founder & director of Aisha Shule/W.E.B. DuBois Prep School and a pioneer in the African-centered Schools Movement. This event is the fifth in a series of intergenerational dialogues with elders in our community who have worked and struggled on behalf of African people. African-cented educator and doctoral candidate Kefentse Chike will facilitate the discussion.
