MITCHELL FAMILY CHALLENGES POLICE SHOOTING AT WARREN CITY COUNCIL
TONIGHT, 8 p.m.

4/14/09—The family of 16-year-old Robert Mitchell, who was killed by
Warren police officers after they chased him to an abandoned house in
Detroit, will attend and address the Warren City Council tonight
regarding the policies and procedures of the Warren Police Department
which led to this death.

The Council meeting will be held TONIGHT:

The families will be joined by members of the Detroit Coalition Against
Police Brutality who have been victims of police misconduct and
violence.

The teen’s funeral will be held Saturday, April 19th, at Second Ebenezer
Church, 14601 Dequindre, Detroit, MI 48212. The family hour will be held
at 10am and funeral will commence at 11am.
