For the first time, the untold Angola story is revealed in a new documentary premiering in February on WEDU TV.

The Angola Settlement counts as one of the most important sites in African American history and heritage. Historians say it stretched from Tampa Bay to areas near the Manatee River and into parts of Sarasota.
