"Hands Off"� Assata Flier Instructions

Scorched Earth Tactic
1. Saturate your area with the flyers. Blow them up as posters (preferably on yellow paper) and post on telephone poles, bus stops, etc.

2. Set a date for a public meeting to provide information or dialogue with others about Assata Shakur and her legal case. Visit and print out any information you like from www.assatashakur.org

3. Initiate a Door Knocking Campaign.

4. 1st Phase: Leave the flyer on the door, etc of every house in the target area. Don't stop to talk unless asked a question or you will never finish your route. Make sure you record the address you started at and the address you finished at, so you can track progress and conduct follow-up.

5. 2nd Phase: Go back to target area in a day or 2 and knock on the doors of each house you left a flyer at. Let them know you represent the "HANDS OFF ASSATA CAMPAIGN" and that you are going throughout the community to educate People on who Assata is and what law enforcement is planning. Invite them out to your Meeting and/or Rally (which needs to be organized as well).

6. Post flyers on car windshields in large parking lots (grocery stores, shopping malls, schools, universities, etc.)

7. Have Mass Rally in your area in front of major government buildings and/or in areas the People congregate at. Distribute flyers.
