A suggestion

This forum has only been up for about a year and we already have alot of members but not many people log in. Every time I visit there's usually about 7 or 8 members logged in and the rest are guests who are just browesing the forums but don't ever post. I suggest that we create a system that requires a member to login in order to view all the forums so more people will post. Right now we have 8 members and 143 guests. I wonder if all the guests are registered members or just agents browsing the site. I think this would be a good idea.

1. The forum has been around longer than a year. This current "incarnation" is about a year though.
2. Tell why after a year you are just now feeling comfortable posting?
3. Almost all of the sections are accessible to visitors because we are pledged to the exchange of information and we dont want any stipulation other than security to get in the way of that information exchange.
4. There are 1500 members, which aint bad for a year's worth of effort
5. The forum is extremely popular with search engine bots, so it is indexed everyday by hundreds of them. Making our content instantly accessible to politically conscious people all over the world. Sometimes as many as 200 search engine bots are cataloguing the posts from this messageboard. Some of the visitors you see are actually search engine bots.
