Yesterday July 7, 06 Chairman Fred Hampton Jr was arrested by Chicago pigz.

"These attacks are happening at such a rate that I think that we need to do a flip on Willie Nelson's song "On the Road Again", to our version that "They Got One of Us in Jail Again". In essence, this latest trumped up charge culminated in response to the political set up of patronage, that this city is known for in particular. In this case, it being the Chicago Park district. In particular, South Region Park Supervisor Marvin "Toby" Tolbert straight out attempted to deny Chairman Fred Street Dancers, which consists of a coalition of youth girl dance groups which range from ages 4-16, and happened to reside in the same disenfranchised community which this park, is supposedly set up to serve these residents. However, their position is that upper class negroes and other nationalities can commute from across the city and take in a bit of the "wildlife" and utilize its resources but not the Black children who deal with the daily drama of the infamous Englewood (Southside, Chicago) community. As a result of us demanding that the Chairman Fred Street Dancers, and these Black babies in general, have access to resources that on paperwork says that they're getting, but in reality poverty pimps, non-profit hustlers, and those who do not live, serve, or have the interest of our community are getting in our name. I was unleashed this morning after being held captive, and was given a court date of August 21, in Chicago Illinois. And dig this, for allegedly trespassing in a public park."

These filthy pigs really don't know when to quit. We don't have many real leaders left...so all it is,to me, is an agenda to stop any revolutionary organizations from doing what Afrikans should be doing...liberating our people. The pigs know that a revolutionary organization created in 2006 would be more....dangerous today than in 1966.

I have spoken with Chairman Fred this morning, he asks that everyone support and continue to support The Chairman Fred Hampton's Streetz Party, with the next one being in Oakland, Ca @ The Lil Bobby Hutton Park on July 15, 2006 from 1pm to 6pm

PS he was charged with "treaspassing" in of all places a "public park" you know its some BS... double up what ever you are doing the enemy is feeling it... Uhuru!! Forward To PanAfricanism!!!

But this thing is even beyond anything revolutionary. This is basic civil rights, y'all! Arrested and jailed for "trespassing" in a public park???!!!???!!!

This is unacceptable. Now I already know the regulations for local parks. If you want to hold a special event, you have to apply for a permit. Ahead of time. This way, if yt may happen to be trying to make use of the park at the same time with some public event, you won't be in their way. But beyond that, local children trying to make use of the park that belongs to them (parks belong to all of us, but if you live in the neighborhood, that goes without saying) should have every right to make use of that park, so long as they are doing nothing to violate park rules, which I am sure they were not.

Let's go back to what the bulletin said about park facilities being available for neighborhood children's use--ON PAPER. These parks are funded (and their employees paid) BASED ON assertions of how they will be of benefit to local residents. More than that, it is we (or Chicagoan) taxpayers who are funding Parks & Recreation.

I feel like we are all at a point where we need to either work proactively to prevent this type of unjust breach of black rights from flying over, or where we must take some type of action in protest. There are two serious violations here, really three, which really have implications of becoming routine if they aren't already.

1. A brother (not just any brother, but a Freedom Fighter/Child of a Martyr) is jailed? on charges of trespassing in a park for trying to exercise a right ostensibly given neighborhood children.

2. Neighborhood children are denied the right of access to and recreation in THEIR neighborhood park.

3. Taxpayers are being exploited and city gov't employees are exploiting.

I want to know what we must do to prevent such injustices from occurring again, and what we can do to voice our disapproval of our brother being wrongfully jailed.

And they wonder why we feel like FUCK THE LAW?? The sheer absurdity of this is obvious to the trained mind. There is no trespassing on public property. The parks and things of that nature are paid for by the people with the understanding that we are allowed unlimited access within the law.
