A former employee, who did not want to be identified, has revealed that the assistant chief has a controversial MySpace page. (There is a video on the link below! You just might wanna click that.)
"The code is that you don't speak against another officer. And we're talking about an assistant chief," the former employee said. "How can you trust someone who says it's okay to post things like what's posted on his MySpace page?"
The Web page in question contained a number of racially insensitive jokes.
"Is there anything to laugh about here? Absolutely not. There's nothing to laugh about," the former employee said.
Assistant Chief Steve Waterbury said the jokes were posted by someone else and they were posted nearly three years ago. But even though he didn’t post the jokes, he does admit that he didn’t remove them.
Now he’s worried that people are going to think he’s racist.
"How do I get people in the community to follow me now? How do I get people to trust me? I'm done. My credibility is shot. My integrity is shot," said Waterbury.
He also said he regrets that he didn't take the site down.
"He had the power to delete that information and he chose not to," the former employee said.
Waterbury removed the Web page on Thursday after speaking with 11 News.
The Richmond police chief is currently out of town and couldn’t be reached for comment.

Typical, it sounds to me like hes sorry he got busted! If it really ment that much to the pig he would have taken it down THREE years ago.
