| Houston - Music & Dance Group of Ghana (4/27/07) OBO ADDY AND THE MUSIC & DANCE OF GHANAApril 27, 8.00 pm Master drummer Obo Addy brings African musical history to life on stage. A key originator of the influential musical movement now known as “Worldbeat,”Addy embodies the past, present and future of Ghana ’s musical culture. Presented by the Society for the Performing Arts http://www.milleroutdoortheatre.com/.../1/2007&ID=264 ALL performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are FREE OF CHARGE; this event offers reserved seating in the covered area. Please, only four (4) tickets per person. Tickets are available at the Miller Theatre Box Office on first-come first-serve basis between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm on the day of the performance . Remaining tickets are given out one hour before curtain. Reserved, ticketed seats will be held until 5 minutes before the performance starts. Again, there is NO charge for tickets.  |
